The main thing i dont like about the gamepad is the damn gloss finish nintendo insists on using. I have to wipe down my gamepad every session because it looks so covered in fingerprints.
The way i see it, the fact that people were unable to tell what the res was even at events and stuff where the game was running right in front of them, goes to show how stupid the resolution fixation this gen is. Good games look good... simpld as that.
Raoul Silva was an awesome villian that was gay.
Thatd be funny if they made her like ridiculously unattractive for no reason.
LOL anyone else read that as "EA" for a sec.
Thatd be something.
i was never one for battle mode, but i do realize it's a nice diversion. saying "well it doesnt matter because the rest of the game is so good", is missing the point. That's like if a supplementary but still widely played game mode in COD or BF was integrally changed for the worse. In those games' communities people would complain and hopefully a change would be made.
I said this before but i honestly think it was to get this game out sooner. The game is incredibly polished everywhere else so its still puzzling.
We should voice our dissatisfaction, maybe we'll get a DLC with proper arena courses.
Oh man that's great xD
Sony's really been giving it the cold shoulder lately.

Gotta tell ya, i ain't seeing much in the vein of "system seller" in those comments. I saw some people say that it might shift a few in Japan... which it will. Where are you getting this notion from again?
And you said that they said it would "save the wii u&...
@Danny
"Suddenly, it's a system seller and one of the games that will "save the WiiU". "
...who said that? Please, feel the need to link me to anyone with more than one bubble who said that. The only place this will sell systems is Japan.
Warriors orochi 3 was a shitty port of a game that was 6 months old. How does that relate to this, which is developed ground up on the Wii U.
And i've played one DW game to complet...
360's been around for 9 years this november, gotta cut it in some slack. Poor old girl ain't what she used to be.
@TFJ
No, no, i dont sell my games either, in fact i collect them too. Im just saying the value in inferior versions of a game are generally worthless as collectors items years from now. Now to own the optimal version of the game (important to me as a collector) i already spent a bunch of money on, i have to spend more money. 60 bucks is not a big deal, i just find it a little sad that a game so associated with the ps3 is no longer exclusive to it.
Like the other day i was in ...
Buying it on launch vs. 6 months later is a different bag entirely. I don't feel cheated as a customer when a price goes down because i made the gamble of buying a product when its price will be at its height. If the price is slashed a month later? Sucks for me. But buying Metro, Tomb Raider, and TLOU last gen, and all of the dlc and stuff... if i had known this new trend of upgrading year old games with some better effects and framerates was going to be a thing, you bet your ass i would&...
@Gaming
Good for you, i respect that opinion. Me though? I kind of liked when exclusive games went down with the ship, or in other words those games stayed with that system and forever remained associated with it. Like Shadow of the Colossus went from the PS2's absolute epitome of technical savvy and scale, to the crappy version of the up-res remake on PS3. Nowadays it's like exclusives are being robbed from their graves. What's happening with TLOU is the same thing, excep...
I really don't like knowing that the $60 copy of a game i bought last year along with it's 15 dollars of DLC will be rendered obsolete by the $60 copy of it this year. It makes me feel kind of cheated. If it's like TLOZ: Windwaker HD where it comes after a decent bit of progression with graphics with new features and improvements over the original game, AND comes at a cheaper price? I'll bite.
HD collections (that dont suck like SH's did) for like 30-40 bucks are a...
@mikeslemonade
...but its still an environmental aspect of the console. Thus a relevant point when someone brings up their environmental record, no? And its comparatively weak to the other next gen hardware, but its a freakin POWERHOUSE to the Wii, yet Nintendo managed to outclass it in power consumption as well as the other hardware from 8 years ago.
So a product that the company is paying more to manufacture than YOU are to play it for a number of years is overpriced. Who...
They like to hate on hardware manufacturing companies because the menial task of working in a factory apparently needs more pay. MS outsources most of their manufacturing so the shame is placed on those people instead.
3ds and Wii U were both sold for a loss. how can something be simultaneously overpriced and sold at the company's expense? I find it funny how a random analysis site giving Sony a bad credit rating and forseeing bankruptcy is automatically discredited, but another company giving Nintendo an equally arbitrary "grade/rating" on another topic is impeccable. The way i see it, theyre both wrong. Nintendo might not be as fun as Disneyland like some would hope, but describing it as sla...
if i had to guess, 6 or 7 years.
The main reason last gen lasted so long was because MS and Sony sold both their consoles for a huge loss and they wanted to make money back before going forward.
@Foxtrot
Not really. The illusion of "more = better" has been slowly killing off every fighting series and making them more and more unbalanced and non competitive. I would prefer, like sakurai said he's doing a while back (though he might have retracted this goal), to make a game with not so many characters thats better balanced. For example, from a competituve standpoint literally 2/3 of the roster of brawl is useless. In melee almost every character was well balanced ...
