No not at all. They're completely different beasts and can co-exists peacefully. COD and BF3 are competing head to head for the same demographic in the same time-frame. Game v game "wars" are silly in the first place.
That would be unfortunate but honestly... not sure if I'd 100% buy Rockstars previous excuse for lack of content in general. It would be nice if they had that much artistic integrity but I'm guessing there was more to it than that. I would expect after some of the disappointments some long time fans aired they won't go the same exact route. I don't think it'll be San Andreas crazy but I do predict more freedom from the get-go in general.
Carl Johnson Johnson?
GTA5 trailer drops so why not have yet another article about this mod.
Look, I'll admit it... I'm a huge fan of The Sims. Have been since the first. But man, 3's expansions have been a joke. I'll pass on this one too.
If the rumors about multiple playable characters were true, it would be absolutely silly to not include co-op. I'm not even a big fan of co-op really and I'd be mindblown if they missed this opportunity.
Yeah totally agree. That was actually the most enticing thing about the trailer for me. The graphics were not only a big improvement over other RAGE engine games but the glimpses of the world seemed denser and more detailed too. Thats a huge achievement. Even the outer landscapes put RDR to shame.
Anyone complaining about the graphics (especially since we have no idea how close it is to release) is being kind of a wanker imo.
Cool, I'm sure people will be interested in this, but IGN you're going a little nuts on the GTAV coverage... It was a trailer for crying out loud.
You Capcom haters are just ridiculous... Clearly Super Duper Street Fighter 5 won't come out until after Super Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition.
Wow is this really what this site is coming to? Semantic debates and objective/subjective arguments over game difficulty and descriptions of HEIGHT?
I clicked this review to see if there was a possible counterargument to Uncharted 3's hype. It's always stimulating when someone offers a valid opposing opinion to a critical darling. The keyword there is VALID of course. This review is just gutter trash.
In the first paragraph this guy establishes some s...
Rockstar North is an American company? News to me...
I've been enjoying it but the car handling is sometimes unbelievably bad. One side mission with a Hummer was incredibly frustrating. Thankfully the game seems pretty lenient and it doesn't stop me from completing things which dulls the pain.
Definitive console version of a fighting game masterpiece.
RIP expansion packs :( ~~~
Agreed. Context is really important here... it depends on the type of game and its execution. In this day in age, many people want their moneys worth so it's understandable to immediately go for the gut "longer = better" concept. I advocate artistic integrity and if a studio can develop a satisfying 5-10 hour experience if it fits their vision, I'm all for it. I don't mind shelling out $60 for something that feels like it deserved to be supported ( regardless of length),...
Sorry, off-topic, but love the avatar. House is one of my all time favorite films.
Well... ok.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Nintendo has the younger demographic nailed, so I'm sure they know not all of them are responsible enough to handle something fragile. I'm hoping they aren't too expensive or that the warranty is rock solid.
Well, even if the PSV and Wii U have similar functionality, I think that just goes to show that both Sony and Nintendo saw the next logical step in gaming. That's pretty exciting to know two huge companies have a similar vision at the same time, I think. It should be less about competition in the pejorative sense and more about positive competition.
Skyrim is definitely more solid than their recent games using the Gamebryo engine, but PC gamers are still getting the short end of the stick. Poor performance on very good machines because its an Xbox port, unbearably frequent CTDs after a recent patch to fix an issue of people being able to circumvent Steam to play the game (woah, paying customers getting shafted because of DRM? What a surprise!), and of course there's still general buggyness they decided to patch after the Steam proble...
