Because Microsoft has a service that allows you to download backwards compatible Xbox games and Sony doesn't offer PS2 downloads (yet). It isn't a remastered version of the game or anything, it's essentially treated like a rip of the game on your hard drive. I'm sure it'll be on PSN some day.
This seems like good filler for the future DLC disc they'll release. Doesn't seem worth a standalone purchase imo.
Microsoft needs to scoop them up. They need more first party developers, seriously.
I'd buy it for Jet Set Radio and Shenmue alone. If this is real, I really hope it isn't just the Dreamcast XBLA/PSN ports on disc. That'd be so disappointing.
Yep let's blame the DVD9 and not the consistent incompetence of Call of Duty developers.
Well put Cevapi. I just pre-ordered this via Amazon and this will be my first Gran Turismo game. If PD can interest someone who A. wouldn't consider themselves a car lover and B. someone who's never even played a GT game before... I think they've done their job and they're more than relevant in my eyes.
Ugh... "that's what multiplayer mode is for"? So developers can script half the game and skip designing a deep single player game with fresh gameplay if they tack on a rehashed multiplayer component? This is everything that's wrong with video games today.
"Black Ops Multiplayer MONTAGE, Avenged Sevenfold"
No thanks lol
Half-Ass Gaming reviewing a half-assed game.
Wakka never had a good name. Awful character.
I believe Epic Mickey was originally planned to release on 360/PS3 before they switched focus to Wii exclusivity. Despite this, Spector has gone on record as saying 360 and PS3 ports are definitely possible. I wouldn't be surprised if ports get announced six months down the line.
Regardless, I couldn't care less. I'm excited to play this on whatever system it releases.
What's wrong with GOG?
Came to say the same thing.
It really shouldn't. It was just announced too soon, that's all. Fingers crossed for E3'11.
Just a minor correction: it's $7.49, not $7.99. Great deal either way.
Sounds like Ubisoft was right about Activision charging for online play through DLC. A new map pack for $15 every month?
Third Strike <3
News outlets always rate "hot new tech". This sort of proves Kinect is in the same demographic as the iPad and such.
Cool. Now can you let DICE make a real Battlefield game?
It would be ridiculous if Yun and Yang didn't make it to consoles. Evil Ryu would be HORRIBLE as anything other than a boss character, though.
