Everyone should pick this up, especially since it's just in time for Halloween.
Well said. Keep in mind there is also a fan subgroup to cater to that doesn't necessarily fit into either category: fans of competitive fighting games. The lack of certain characters and the inclusion of surprising or disappointing characters might just be a balance choice or the team trying to add an interesting or fun character to the roster. I don't know much (or anything) about the Marvel universe, so I don't really know who M.O.D.O.K is or why he's disappointing, but if h...
@Cevapi88
Who's saying that 8s and 7s are bad scores?
What is with IGN and 8.5's lately? Is it the new 9.5?
Lucas Arts has been going downhill for years.
Well, it's not that horrible actually (presuming you have an internet connection). I suppose this would let them print the game on time and still polish up a few loose ends. It's not the greatest solution in the world, but it's a lot better than shipping the game and patching it weeks or months later.
"The question is should we expect the spectacular feats that Bethesda has brought to us with Fallout 3 "
God, I certainly hope not.
"or should we expect a world that returns to the roots of Interplays IP."
This would be nice, but I have my doubts. It'll be a true test of time to see if Interplay has any idea as to what they're doing these days or if they even care about the IP anymore. Most of the team responsible...
"You begin the game by selecting a cool-looking driver (I went with the understated Guamanian) and taking a plane to an unnamed island."
An unnamed island? You mean Oahu, Hawaii? The real life location the game is painstakingly modeled (get it) after? The game is three years old by the way, it's a little late for this.
CameronU2Fan, that comment is hardly worth responding to. Bejeweled and The Sims proved there was a huge untapped market for the industry to cater to. That "game people just played all day while bored at work" made a lot of money and got people thinking "Hey, we could make a lot of money too". Thus the casual gaming demographic became a huge shift in focus. Whether or not it was a good game isn't the point. Sorry that went over your head.

What's supposed to be funny about that list? All of those games, with the exception of Super Mario Galaxy, were huge game changers for the industry.
Epic Mickey is the only November game I'll be picking up. Was going to get GT5 and LBP2 but unfortunately (or fortunately if you're my bank account) they've been delayed.
I'm braced.
"Dissidia 012 Duodecim: Final Fantasy New Screens - Is Tifa HOT?"
Maybe you should hit up the GameFAQs forum with this question.
This game reminds me a lot of N+.
That's awful. I've been to that mall a few times.
Welcome to N4G. Enjoy your stay.
Played this for about 8 hours on the PC and haven't experienced a single bug. Probably explains why the PC version doesn't have a score up yet.
"Well, how do they stack up against the RPG masters over at Bethesda?"
I laughed.
Great, PC gamers (the ones who made both this franchise and Bethesda a success) get shafted? Just love this current generation.
"Silent Hill 4: The Room
Considered the least of the numbered series,"
Actually I think 4 is the highest number they've used for official Silent Hill titles.
(I'm hilarious [except not really])
