That just means we, as a whole, need to stop giving rumormongers clicks. It's like an ecosystem trying to find a balance amongst predators and prey vying for a more efficient method of survival.
Seriously, it seems reminiscent of the Cold War corporate espionage allegedly rampant throughout the MacCarthyism era. It would be a smart tactic if true, this is the kind of controlled leak you use when gauging interest. It would be a stroke of genius if Microsoft gauged said interest while causing strife amongst it's competition.
It is most likely just starving journalists hungry for clicks, though.
Personally, I always felt that he falls into the "so bad it's good" category. He was one of the best in the biz in the late nineties, though. You'd be hard pressed to find a voice actor with so much longevity in this industry.
I never agreed with all the Sutherland hate around here. Big Boss was never meant to have the same voice as Solid (think MGS4 ending). Neither did Liquid or Solidus, or Venom.
Just imagine Hayter performing each and ...
I've always loved Hayter's goofy Snake, but Kojima wasn't the one playing up the hilarity of previous titles even if he was good at it (there were separate writers before MGS4). I think Kojima wanted to be taken more seriously. Let's be honest, the old titles had their fair share of haters towards Hayter's performance too, just look at the old forums. Hopefully he stays a presence in the game industry or even continues to act on screen.
Just so long as he ...
He's a ghost.
I agree, but combat would need alterations. Geralt's spinning-combo-of-certain- death would be more than a little disorienting in first-person.
The author, cunningly on the prowl for clicks like a chicken looking for worms after rain.
Title should read:
Gamers: Who cares what Michael Pachter announces at any given time?
I'll have what he's having.
From the article:
"I discovered that I was constantly in a state of physical stress: my heart rate was over 100 the entire time."
More like a constant state of E-X-C-I-T-E-M-E-N-T!
Really, though, as someone who had real bad car sickness and defeated it, it is something you can overcome. Motion sickness for me was conquered in one dedicated year (from a driving job requiring me to look at paperwork at night while in the car).
Might want to take care with drinking and VRing. You wouldn't want to get real sick and forget where you are, puking all over your controller.
Moderation is key, but I'll likely be experimenting quite a bit. I think slow, chill games will resonate well to such effect compared to something akin to P.T.
@Jb
"Pretty sure the next thing y'all will be "concerned" about is whether or not the electricity comes for free or gamers would have to pay a monthly fee for it."
Wait, are you saying PSVR doesn't have the option to use BATTERIES?! Canceling my preorder!

@Armyntt
Ok, if PSVR sells 30% of PS4's sales, as you say, and then even assuming the sales have abruptly stopped at March levels that would be over 12 million. Roughly as many units as the Wii U, and half of Xbox One. That would be a damn successful peripheral. But those numbers are of course from your wild speculation, so who can say?
Plus a newly announced SWBF VR game from a deal Sony made with EA.
Well, if you put any stock into Game Theorists, Bioshock Infinite wouldn't translate well into VR for the same reason people couldn't actually live there in real life. Too many moving islands would screw with your senses. Even if you were actually there, you'd have a constant headache and nausea. Imagine super sea sickness.
The first Bioshock would translate perfectly I would think.
Not that it really matters, but I'd like to point out that none of the main Resident Evil's are exclusive to PlayStation consoles. Outbreak series were, and I believe there was Survivor or something on PSOne.
Edit: I guess you beat me to the punch 2pac.
It sounded to me like it is going to be a separate VR SW Battlefront game, but either way that is huge, and the announcement seemed held for this moment knowing it's gonna snowball through internet and word of mouth.
These mods are rudimentary at best. You'll never have 300+ quality mods running simultaneously that actually enhance graphics running at 50fps.
These aren't real ENB's, the Creation Kit hasn't been released yet. This appears to be a collection of mostly tweaked values passing as gen 1 mods.
Uh no, most of those things are not present in vanilla homes. Without Hearthfire, you can't have children, pets of all kinds, or unique resource farms. Half of the vanilla houses are also very cramped. You can craft a fully decked out crafting home, loot and trophy home, or a comfy home, or a mix thereof.
