Ok I understand that the game is installed in your HDD and in order to play that game (from your HDD) you need to be signed on. So that is pretty simple. It's like when I buy a song from iTunes, and I want to download it again, I obviously have to bee signed in. That's that.
but the BIG question I have is: Why require ALL games to be installed on the Hard Drive?! Will we even be able to play them without having the disc inside? Otherwise, what is the purpose?
I think that the PS4 looks like a bigger PS Vita case. So it might not be a regular Bluray case.
The Xbox looks great. It is clean and the logo is in the box leaving the cover untouched. Nice!
ROFL!!! Awesome..
If you pause it when the 4 is shown, you'll see that it has the same finish as the slim (2009) PS3.
Well, yes. But you know that in this industry, especially how things are now, publishers only care about the money and not the quality. So if they can ship a game faster, they won't care if it's any good or not.
Hopefully faster does not mean lazier.
What cover? There's no boxart in any of the links.
The title of the article is: 5 things I want from the next Xbox. Don't know how it got approved like this.
The black box with blue the blue line is awesome. With that said, I hope they change the design (at least the Only on Playstation label). Every generations has had a different design so I would like if it is true in this generation.
Also, I wish the boxes are even smaller. They waste too much plastic. They should be like CD cases, but like a DVD (similar to 3DS cases). There is no need for that extra space.
Both!
A Crack in Time is the best in the series IMO. I never got to play the games on PSP so my opinion is based without them. ACIT seemed really polished and it was really fun.
Bettery physics and getting rid of ragdoll physics. When you kill someone it needs to have a weight. I hated this specially in Dead Space when I had to stomp dead aliens and the whole body moved like...... a ragdoll. Really that needs to change and be a little more realistic.
With your point on PCs I have another question: Why are websites still not in "widescreen" mode? Why do they still use a square format and leave both sides' space wasted? I think more than 95% has a widescreen monitor? Every laptop now is widescreen.. So what stops them?
Why are they still putting Analog Output in consoles? There once a time where there were RF Switches, they moved on. Why not move on from Analog and just include an HDMI?
Exactly. They now show games for the sake of showing something and "win" E3, only to pretend they never existed. Agent shouldn't have been announced, Final Fantasy Versus XIII either. The Last Guardian had to be shown because it was leaked by Playstation Lifestyle, but it was clearly too early.
Not only that, but because they want to make an impression, they announce things way beyond what they end up being. Killzone 2 trailer, Kinect, etc.
E3 s...
I don't understand that reasoning either. The console needs games in order to sell, obviously since it is a gaming console. But developers don't want to put games on it until it sells.
It's like who came first, the chicken or the egg?
Developers NEED to understand that they MUST take a risk and release a game so that the console sells and they can get more games and therefore sell more. If the console does not sell, and developers don't want t...
I find it very weird that Sony is announcing GT6 for PS3 and Drive Club for PS4. Why do they need two of the same thing? Why having the most popular driving game on the PS3 instead of the newly announced PS4 to get launch sales? Why announce GT6 after announcing the PS4?
I would have preferred if Evolution was working on something new. I would have liked a new Jetski Racer. I loved Waverace 64, and Evolution would be great for a game like that with all their craziness. Instead t...
Why is everyone giving so much importance to the box itself? I prefer to know the specs than how it looks. Just see what Nintendo did, they showed the console but never talked about the specs, the most important aspect.
If Sony had shown the box, but hadn't commented on the specs, we would have thousand of hate articles about how Sony is doomed! The same would go for MS if they don't.
Specs are much more important! Whatever the box looks, if the spec...
Hello no!
They need to finish Final Fantasy Versus XIII and announce Kingdom Hearts 3. We still have to deal with Lighting Returns.
The only thing that they did right was the controller. Although I only liked the impulse triggers.
