Having a lot of devs commenting on this rumor, makes me believe that it is actually true. It might be used for something besides games, but if it does, it will be the tryout to get it to games.
I don't know how Microsoft will defend it if it actually becomes true. Developers will certainly support it (specially Ubisoft) since they love DRM. The biggest problem is that if the next Xbox implements it, and it actually sells well, Sony and Nintendo will follow suit.

That would be a really nice service. If it is done well, the infrastructure and design is there, then it will be very convenient. Paying monthly for every PS, PS2 and PS3 game sounds reasonable, since there are a lot of games that even at $10 each would cost more than the service for a year. Also, it is a great to play games otherwise wouldn't have played.
But then again, the service would have to work really good.
I never liked Unreal Engine 3. The look of the characters is horrible, it looked like they were made of clay or something. Compared to graphics like Final Fantasy XIII, Uncharted, Battlefield, etc it was really bad. I would always recognize a game made with UE3 because they all looked the same in a bad way. I was only impressed by it when they first showed the first Gears of War.

I want a new Zelda as epic as possible with much more epic music as much, if not better music than Mario Galaxy had. They need to take the risk to reinvent the music just as Mario.
Also, a new Mario reinvented. They did it with Mario Galaxy and hopefully they can find a way to make it better.

My guess is that the cheaper model will be $449 and the premium model $499 or $549. There is now way the PS4 will be $50 more than the Wii U..
I even think that the PS4 will be once again the most expensive out of the three consoles, as I see MS trying to get to the price of the Wii U, especially if all those media hub rumors are true
I agree! I have been saying this before. I want epic boss battles, even while riding epona. But most importantly an epic story. They should forget the introduction of Link at the beginning of the game like every game released. They game should start with Link fighting an epic battle with Ganondorf trying to avoid getting Zelda harmed or something. No more this is link, get the sword, get the shield, this is how you play the game, now you are ready to go to your adventure to rescue zelda, etc....
Yeah. I remember they said they will show the next Mario in 3D but not a new Zelda. They just confirmed they were working on one.
There are a lot of franchises that Nintendo could show. Let's see what they choose. They will definitely show the new Yoshi yarn game and Zelda WW HD.
I don't care what art style they use, but I would like a cinematic experience and an actual story. It would be awesome to have god of war's like bosses that it gets confusing if you are in control of the character or not. Fighting bosses riding Epona, like Shadow of the Colossus, etc. If the Wii U has more power than a PS3they can accomplish it.

It's actually true. I want a Wii U ONLY for Nintendo games. Every friend who wants one, also wants the same. I don't know anyone who wants to play Fifa, Mass Effect 3, etc on a Nintendo console.
I am waiting to see the new Zelda and new Mario, which they already said they are coming, and which other franchises get announced to decide if I buy one.

ON PAR?!! Hell, it needs to be better! Right now the PS4 is the most powerful next gen console. Obviously, the next Xbox will be announced to be as similar as possible, but if it is in some way inferior, I would expect PS4 games to be better than other consoles. At the very least, developers NEED to take advantage of all PS4's features in their games.

I can't understand why everyone wants to be like COD. The same with movies and the same with TV shows. Media is successful and sells tons, then everybody wants to be exactly like that media. Why???!!!!!!
Indie developers are getting better and better. Their games have been much more creative than ones made and published by big companies. Definitely, the fact of getting recognition, beats the fact of trying to get as much money as possible.
It is really amazing that with PS4 (and hopefully other consoles too) is getting easier to publish their games, because what we are going to get is amazing games. Granted they might get a little buried with a lot of meh games, but still.
