For me is A Crack in Time. Best Ratchet and Clank.
I remember that when I had to choose from the PS One games I wanted, or N64, I would read reviews and I would find games that were 7 out of 10 or even 6 out of 10 that everyone thought they were amazing. That is the reason why I got to play a lot of PS One games (and because I played pirated games though).
Even during the PS2 era, reviews were legit. I remember reading reviews to find out about the story, the gameplay, if the controls were good, or made sense. They would tel...
To have a review included in metacritic, you review should be from a stablished publication and should have reviewed a lot of games beforehand. I don't remember well the guidelines, but they are there in the website.
The score system though, will never be revealed unless someone figures it out, or hacks them. For me, metacritic should just be a collection of reviews (like how N4G is a collection of news and articles) and that's it. You want to know about a review, go...
We'll see how deserving all those perfect scores GTA V will get are. It definitely looks to be a huge improvement over GTA IV and so far it looks even better than any other GTA. Time will only tell.
Naught Dog have made an outstanding job this generation. I remember when they asked them how would they possibly top the success of Uncharted 2, with Uncharted 3 or a new IP, and they said that it was an extremely difficult position they were, but that they were up to the c...
A lot of people don't remember this, and I can't find the links anywhere, but there was an interview with Peter Moore when he left MS about how the XBox and 360 came to be, and the sole purpose of them was not to be the best, but to NOT let Sony win. Period. That's why they were trying so hard to make Sony lose the exclusivity of all of their games (Devil May Cry, GTA 4, Tekken, Assassin's Creed, etc).. They actually ordered to pay any amount to convince third parties to let g...
So Nintendo is making a big deal out of Shin Megami Tensei IV and Fire Emblem: Awakening because of their upcoming crossover title. However, I recently bought Fire Emblem because I liked the demo of Project X Zone too much, and never realized how this kind of games are actually very fun. (And I still yet to buy Project X Zone).
My question though, is: Is Shin Megami Tensei like Fire Emblem? Why does everyone say that if I like Fire Emblem, I will like SMT4? Is there a game th...
The excuse of not having enough install base is stupid!. Right now the install base for the PS4 and Xbox One is ZERO! Why are they making games for them then? Obviously, those games they are making are what's going to increase the install base of those consoles. It's not like 5 million people will buy them and then developers will say: "Ok, we have enough install base, we can start making games for PS4 and Xbox One".
The same goes for the Wii U. Developers ...
Double Helix should announce more characters and features for the game. Relying on Sabrewulf and Glacius won't help them. I think this story exaggerated, although I haven't seen the video or the stream.
I don't understand why they always want to reveal the characters that everyone is know will be in the games one by one and taking forever. Just announce the game, and if there is going to be new characters, then those can be revealed slowly.
It a freaking kick in the nuts to fans. I remember when Wada said at the beginning of this gen that they wouldn't support the PS3 too much because it wouldn't be fair, but they also wouldn't support the Xbox too much. Yeah right.. Not ONE Square Enix's excusilve was released for the PS3 while there were like 4 Xbox exclusives.
Also, Nomura was confirming time and time again that Versus XIII was never going multiplatform. Great way to stab fans yet again by ch...
Killer Instinct 2 was my favorite, and while I've been skeptic about this one, it it shaping much better that what I thought!. I just want to see the entire game first with every character and what they are going to do with Ultimates, Stage Fatalities, etc. Also, I want to know if the game will sell completely, or it will only be sold as a F2P and purchase everything else separately.
I don't think Final Fantasy XV will be affected by Xbox One, because after all, it was supposed to be a PS3 game, and I don't think they will add more improvements just because they are on next gen consoles. However, I think that having to port it to the Xbox will take more time, which is a slap in the face to the fans who have waited for 8 years already. At least it should be a PS timed exclusive.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was a weird decision to make it for the Xbox. There has...
I prefer what Sony is doing with Remote Play and PS Vita. Asymmetrical gameplay is fun, but I am not going to have my Tablet or any other device by my side and switch every time it needs to. Also, having other player using the Tablet for support or other kind of gameplay doesn't sound fun to me. It's like the second player of Super Mario Galaxy. Not much fun there to just collect bits.
With Remote Play I'll be playing my PS4 games on the PS Vita and continue play...
I would love a Pokemon 3D game! Imagine having a big world to explore (like Zelda Ocarina of Time) but much bigger, and having Pokemon living in there, and also hiding (like Final Fantasy XIII chapter 11) and you can approach them to start a fight or take pictures of them (like Pokemon Snap) but when you fight them, the fights are like Pokemon Colosseum, but actually fighting and beating each other (Pokemon X and Y are going in the right direction for this)..
That would be th...
The Wii U might be struggling, but the 3DS is as strong as ever. Partly because Nintendo decided to release all their great games on it, instead of the Wii U. And now they want to release successful 3DS games on the Wii U. (Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mario 3D World, etc).
I am loving the 3DS and there are a lot of games that I want to play. They are all Nintendo games, but why else would someone buy a Nintendo console?. Somehow, Nintendo handhelds get much better 3rd Party ...
I bet Ubisoft was expecting to sell 5 million copies for a game that was released at launch.. *sighs*.. How many launch games are really successful or profitable? Publishers need to understand that releasing a launch games is a risk that only serves to entice people to buy the console. If they want to have more people buying the console, then the game needs to be good.
They said back in January 2011 that it would have airships. However, since it has become FFXV I have a feeling that a lot of content was cut. I'm guessing we will have another FF XIII where we won't ever know how would have been if it hadn't gone multi platform. The thing is, with the new consoles, there shouldn't be any issue whatsoever to bring the game exactly as always intended. Both the PS4 and Xbox One can handle what should have been on a PS3 and now both have Blu Ray f...
Even longer answer: nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooo.
Holy siht! Best Hulk game ever! LOL Awesome mod! COngratulations to all the modders who did it!
So when it was called Versus XIII everyone was excited and it was the best FF to come. Now that it's called XV, suddenly is doesn't belong to the FF franchise and everyone is so disappointed?
I will never understand how this world works.
60 GB sounded like a great option for PS3 at launch. I actually thought that PS4 and XBox One would launch with at least 1TB, but we'll definitely see that changing in the future. Even more at the end of the console life cycle.
