Since the want to make a unified network, they should quit the PlayStation Network name. They should call it as they should have years ago: Sony Entertainment Network, and the Playstation Store should be called Sony Entertainment Store, or something else.
That way casual gamers and people that don't play but use the services in tablets, PC, etc don't get confused over the PS brand.

I think the least of the issue is the always online. Whilst a lot of people can and will be affected about it since not all countries have as good internet as Japan and Microsoft HQ, the biggest issue is how they are treating their costumers with the DRM.

I love Killer Instinct and been asking for a new one since KI2, however, the new one looks weird. I am not liking the art style and the design so far. It obviously looked like they put it together in a very short time and it is not even in alpha state, but still. I am going to wait, but I am definitely skeptical at the moment. Exactly! I think that Sony and even Nintendo will have the same amount (or more in Sony's case) of exclusives during the same time frame.
If you look back at 2012 or 2011 I think that Sony had even more than 15 exclusives all things considered (AAA, PSN, etc). Even if Microsoft is saying that they will all be retail games, they won't all be AAA status.
It could be like what Cell phone companies do, in which you choose 10 people and those are eligible to share. However, since in order to give games to friends, then need to have been on your friend list for at least 30 days, the people you share with might also need to be on your friend list.
