I'm mainly an Xboxer, but yes... The PS3 has become a great 1st person shooter gaming machine. This is pretty funny though, being that alot of Sony fanboys hate 1st person shooters.
A first person shooter is the best type of game out there. It puts you up front and closer to the action, and makes you feel like your in the game more than any other type of game. People who usually don't like or hate 1st person's, are one's that simply don't have the skill...
I tried Killzone 3 3D at Comic Con and thought it looked fine. But for me the glasses have to go.
I was watching people play Gears 3 at Comic Con... It looked amazing! Other playable games there were Fable 3 and Halo: Reach.
I attended the UBI Soft panel at Comic Con. I watched the 30 sec live action trailer, and they said nothing about it being a short film. They say it would be released in 2011 and were looking into what type of medium it could be released through. They are looking into what type of distributors may have interest.

N4G really is an entertaining site... The drama and laughs never stop.
I know their are a lot of pro Sony/3D supporters on this site, and want to talk up 3D... But, if you visit movie message boards, it's amazing at how many anti 3D comments you come across. I'm talkin mostly action/horror boards. These comments are directed towards films they want to see in the theaters, but end up choosing the 2D presentation instead. I'm going to Comic Con on Sat. the 24th. In the Evening a lower budgeted film called Tales Of An Ancient Empire will be shown for free. The film will have sequences of glasses free 3D. I'm going to check it out.

Sony is kinda right... 3-D will be adopetd, but it'll have to be without glasses. You can take any blu-ray and put it into any blu-ray player. However, You can not take a pair of Sony shutter glasses and plug them into your friends Samsung TV. Also, you know at one point someone will have perfected not only 3-D TV's without glasses, but also the ability to convert non-3-D films to 3-D. Plasmas have better blacks, color, contrast and viewing angles. I will say that some of the top end fully backlit LED's from LG and Samsung have just now started to compare with the best plasmas, but I'll stay with plasma. Also, power consumption is not what it use to be with plasma... They are much better. Besides which, I'm not a green person. I like cars that go really fast and get shity gas mileage.

Actually Philips only licence it's name out in the US. They got out of the US when it comes to building their own HDTV's to better protect several patents. They actually make some of the best HDTV's in the world. We in the states can't them. Go to AVSforums.com and read about it or search it out.

Also, let's not forget that you can buy a movie like My Bloody Valentine 3D, take out the 4 pair of glasses along with the blu-ray/DVD, put it in your non-3D player and watch it through your non-3D HDTV.
