Remember last year when E3 rolled around? Microsofts presentation kinda sucked, and people were arguing about who won Sony or Nintendo. Well outside N4G and other gaming sites, people don't have a clue what the hell E3 is. Microsofts presentation may have sucked, but I knew that Kinect (which is not fo me) and the 360 redesign would be system sellers.

You have a point. You always seem to here about some software compaines posting quarterly profit losses, or didn't break even... So it boggles my mind that you have a FPS like this developed as an exclusive for the Wii.
Some call Crysis 1 just a tech demo, but it's much more than that. In addition to it's gorgeous graphics, the story keeps building throughout the games huge levels... Combine this with the whole stealth approach and amazing A.I., you have a brilliant game in Crysis 1.

I have used this analogy before, but here it is again. A lot of companies have lineups, and I think Microsoft may do a Toyota/Lexus Nissan/Infinity type of thing. Or like what any electronics company does... A line of TV's, Blu-ray players, home recievers, etc... Again (100% supported)

iPad gaming is nothing more than a casual thing for people who are bored or just want to pass time. Like others have said, you don't pay $500 for this type of gaming.

Also... let's just say I was one of those kids who lined his quarters up on Space Invaders at the arcades. I have owned more gaming consoles, and played more games than you know. I still have a console that came out before the Atari 2600 did. I just got burnt out over the years from other POV type games. I don't get burnt out from FPS's.

Homefront is a very fun game, and the Xbox brand has always had a high FPS fanbase. Most of the Sony fanboys would always rip on the original Xbox for all the shooters. They don't even deserve a great shooter franchise like Killzone. If they did support a game like Killzone 3 you would be seeing close to Halo type numbers. Go back and play a far less immersive game like your Little Big Planet.

And no a game will not be a TV seller. Exclusives have a hard enough time just being a console seller... Usually it's price cuts, redesigns and I guess Kinect.
Half-Life 2 is my all time favorite game. As for shooters go, nothing can beat the depth and length of Half-Life 2. This being said... I very much liked the single player campaign of Homefront as short as it was. I didn't want it to end.
I'm more of an XBOX guy these days, but I have to say... The people that disagree about Killzone 3 owning Conduit have ZERO credibility.
The lack of information from Valve is just wrong. Us Half-Life fans deserve better. Does Valve have a staff of 2? Just give the job to some modders... They seem to have the dedication and passion to turn out Half-life fun.
