Their are articles/stories galore on the Kinect. The one thing I was surprised about, was seeing lag with the Move when being demonstrated. The Kinect showed lag as well, but Move?
So pricing for gimic packages will look like this:
Wii - $200
Xbox 360 arcade/Kinect - $300
PS3/Move - $400
When something like the Kinect is getting this much hype, what do you do? Bash... It's just natural. The Kinect continues to get the most hype, and it's not even the holiday season yet. Just wait till it makes it's rounds on all the talk/news shows. I don't care for it or I would have bought Nintendo's gimic a long time ago.

3-D on a baby screen = not immersive. 3-D is only immersive and enjoyable in Imax. I have a 50" plasma and a 73" Mits. DLP. The DLP's have been 3-D ready for almost 4 years now, but I refuse to be drawn into this hype. The only way 3-D goes mainstream at home is when they can finally perfect it without glasses. It still won't be immersive like Imax, but at least the glasses will be history.
I'm not a portable guy, nor a Nintendo guy, but I see Nintendo...
I favor the 360 over the PS3, and would like to have seen more of an exciting presentation from Microsoft. However, it doesn't really matter what I think of the whole E3 thing.

What a terrible statement. It's gamers that are going to have to (want) to embrace 3-D gaming. To do so, a gamer is going to have to feel comfortable with the glasses on, and the glasses are going to have to come way down in price.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again... For some reason all these exclusives don't seem to to do anything for sales of the PS3. Uncharted 2 has been out for a few months now and couldn't even make it back into to top 20 for November after Sony sells another 700,000+ units here in the states. You got to be kidding me. Nice support there. besides which, this game should never have even fell out of the top 20 in the first place. And I won't even start to go into depth about what Killzone 2 did...

I actually stopped gaming about a year ago, but I do try and keep up on the gaming industry. After 33 years of gaming, i got a little burned out. I call them as I see them... I have to make negative comments on all the sony hype, cause they deserve it. I have ripped Micrsoft in the past about the way they UNDER supported the HD DVD format, and how they suck at not having enough in house game development, and how the 360 breaks.

Even when the 360 fell behind the ps3 the last 2 months, it was still selling fairly well at the same price. And the fact that the 360 has a lot bigger installed base in the states. I just LOL at all the typical Sony hype only to fall short in November.

Just because Disney's Wall-E looks amazing on blu-ray doesn't mean I'm going to rushout and buy it. I'll stick to purchaces such as Rambo 4 on blu-ray, cause not only does it look amazing, it's violent, and kicks A$$.
I have said it once, and I will say it again. PC gamers have been spoiled over the years from Valve. Valve is known for getting the most out of games they have developed. They know they can make money off a sequel. Actuallly it's called a profit, it's something publishers and develovers seem to have a hard time doing these days with all the negative quarterly numbers that come out. Valve's Source engine is easy for them to develope on, so so what if they have a sequel coming out the following...
I'm not the biggest Sony supporter, but I don't blame them. Sony and other companies are aiming for profits these days, and are not worried about who the biggest and the best is. They are tired of taking losses Just ask GM, all they cared about for years is being #1, but were not making a penny.
This is simple. 360 people really don't care. PC people have gotten so spoiled over the years from Valve, cause Valve gets long life out of games. So Valve decides to bring out a sequel the following year...this is awesome. My god every year companies bring new stuff! Valve just wants to make money which will lead to a profit. This is somethin software companies seem to have a hard time doing these days. Every quarter a loss is always posted, so if Valve wants to do a sequel let them.

I am actually surprised. If you look at the sales numbers off of some of Sony's exclusives they are not great. Some of these were released when nothing else was out on the PS3 like Uncharted, and didn't sell all that well. You can keep up the hype on games like Killzone 2 which is an incredible game, but unless they start selling, and selling systems I just don't see how take 2 wants to do this.

Xbox has timed releases which is always big no matter how you look at it. MGS Rising, Mass Effect 2, Lost Planet 2 and most likely Bioshock 2.
Exclusives or not they have Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan wake, Left For Dead 2 which will be for PC as well.
Exclusives are Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Forza 3.
