Pretty funny how Xbox fans downplay PS4 exclusives (saying things like barely 5% of PS4 players buy exclusives or other silly things), then turn around and say they will gladly pay for an unfinished game that runs badly on Xbox.

Heavy rain and Fahrenheit scored well with critics. Even beyond has its moments. Until dawn (a Quantic Dream-esque game) also scored well. If Detroit is anything like heavy rain, Fahrenheit, and until dawn, then it’ll be another great PS4 exclusive.

Btw, saying things like “halo is still the best” and “overwatch is complete garbage” and then calling me insecure is probably the epitome of irony.

The majority of critics and gamers would disagree with you. Halo 5 is the lowest scoring, worst selling halo in the series. Gears 4 is the lowest scoring, worst selling gears in the series. CoD, battlefield, and overwatch have all dwarfed halo and gears in terms of critical acclaim and/or popularity. You didn’t understand my logic at all. Multiplayer games take a lot of time investment. I only have time to get good at one or two multiplayer shooters per year. When I pick two m...

I have an Xbox One. I bought it when it was $500. You can check my gamer tag for yourself. If you do, you would also notice that I haven’t turned on my Xbox since I played quantum break last year.
@darth
That’s why I don’t buy Xbox exclusives (what few exclusives they have left). Their best multiplayer games have declined. Halo and gears can no longer compete with titans like call of duty, battlefield, and overwatch and I can play those multiplayer titans on the PS4 with better graphics and a bigger user base.

Playground hasn’t even announced who the publisher is, let alone platform. If the publisher is anyone other than MS, then the game will almost certainly be mulitiplatform. Second party doesn’t mean jack squat. Insomniac was second party to Sony for a long time. Then they went to MS for sunset overdrive. Then they went crawling back to Sony because sunset overdrive sold poorly. Xbox gamers just don’t support those types of games. Playground is most likely going multi platfor...
I agree. People who are for government regulation of video games have forgotten the 90’s and early 00’s when politicians try to regulate and censor games.
@Perma
The reason people made a big fuzz about power was because PS4 was more powerful AND cheaper than the Xbox One. The Xbox One was less powerful and more expensive because MS forced people to buy this stupid camera that no one cared about. The Xbox One X is more powerful but also more expensive. It’s also only a mid gen upgrade with no exclusives of its own. Do you actually think most people would shell out $500 just to play slightly better looking multiplats? Add an extra $800 i...
@moldy
No, MS has not proven “third party” and “multimedia” trump exclusives. You refuted yourself by bringing up WiiU. WiiU didn’t have those third party games which made those games effectively exclusive to PS4 and Xbox. PS4 and Xbox share those third party games so exclusives make all the difference especially now that the two consoles have the same price. If third party trumps exclusives, then why didn’t Xbox One X dominate Black Friday? If multimedia is more important, then why ...

I have no idea what you are talking about. It’s a fact that Sony releases more games and higher quality games than MS. Whether or not some of those are “bait” is irrelevant. They might be “bait” to you but not to others.
@maybe
I played a lot of the last of us multiplayer. A lot of people still do so I don’t know what you are talking about. Most critics would also disagree with you.
Sony makes a profit or break even on most exclusives, even “niche” exclusives like bloodborne and nioh. MLB the show “only” sells a million copies each year and they make a profit. That’s why they keep making them.
"you mean like how nearly all the ps4 exclusives Sony had in early 2017 were push backs from 2016? The second half of 2016 Sony had...tlg, while ms had gears 4, fh3, dr4, and recore. This "PlayStation has more exclusives" narrative is pure bullshit."
"This is the first year Sony had a good AAA 1st party lineup, and now they act like they've had a steady stream of hits..."
I guess Xbox fans can't count.

All Xbox One exclusives this year (all two of them) are on pc so Xbox must have had a terrible year.
I guess most critics are stupid and don’t think critically then, since heavy rain and Fahrenheit both scored well.
