That doesn’t make sense either. Nier: automata is a sequel to an obscure game developed by a hit or miss studio. Mass effect andromeda is the fourth entry in one of the greatest series in video game history developed by one of the best studios with a massive budget behind it. I don’t know how you can have higher expectations from the first game than the second game.

Those two 360 games are 10 years old. Zombie is a port and was already given out on ps plus. GWG offerings are way more worthless this month.

Completely different. MS themselves already announced pubg is a “console launch exclusive”.
Given with no strings attached means Kojima was given the source code of Decima without paying a licensing fee. It doesn’t mean he can do absolutely anything he wants with something he doesn’t own. Sony would be crazy to publish DS, let Kojima use Decima without a licensing fee, AND have the game go to pc. The chance of DS going to pc is very slim.

All your arguments for why DS will possibly go to pc are moot. When was the last time a Sony published game developed on a Sony owned engine went to pc? The closest game is nioh, but nioh was co-published by Koei and it didn’t use a Sony owned engine. Nioh also went to the pc after nine long months. While it’s possible DS will go to the pc, the chance of that happening is very slim. I’d just get it on PS4 rather than waiting indefinitely.

Basically what yumi said, but I’ll put it in even simply terms. Let’s say you have 4 people. Person A buys cod and horizon. Person B buys cod and mlb the show. Person C buys cod and persona 5. Person D only buys cod. In the end, cod sold four times as much as each PS4 exclusive but 3/4 people bought PS4 exclusives. Xbox fans keep bringing up the fact that cod is always the bestselling game but that doesn’t prove exclusives don’t matter. All that proves is cod is a popular franch...

I also played quantum break, and while it had potential, it was still average at best. Remedy soon parted ways with MS and is going multi platform. MS isn’t going to make a sequel any time soon.

You just contradicted yourself. During the ps1 era, a lot developers went ps1 exclusive because of the cd format. Final fantasy, metal gear, and resident evil all went ps1 exclusive because of the cd format. A lot gamers then bought ps1’s because of those exclusives. In the end, it was still because of exclusives that the ps1 succeeded so much.

If PS4 had a bad second half of the year, then Xbox One had a terrible year. Xbox One only had two retail exclusives this year - halo wars 2 and forza. If you count cuphead, that’s three exclusives... for the entire year. PS4 had more exclusives in the first two months than Xbox One had in the whole year.
