One side is asking for the developer to add an easy mode. The other side is asking the developer to refrain from adding an easy mode. It’s as simple as that. No other games are involved in this discussion. Neither side is more reasonable than the other.

Artists cater to their customers all the time. Any time focus testing is conducted, that’s the artist catering to their customers.
Chew on the fact that MS can’t consistently make decent games, service games or otherwise. Crackdown 3, sea of thieves, state of decay, quantum break, etc. all suck.

Nope. When I or anyone think of quality, we don’t think of the dollar store or the dollar menu or the dollar anything.
How would you “check” capitalism? Using the government’s gun? As a consumer in a free market, you can check it yourself by not buying Activision or EA products. As workers in those companies, they can find better jobs or unionize and negotiate better contracts. Central planning of the economy by the government never ends well.

Even if you expand the definition of “exclusive” to mean “console exclusive”, Xbox One still only had one positively reviewed “exclusive” in 2018 - forza. Either way you look at it, it’s bad.
