Duke Nukem Forever... ugh! That game is the only game that gave me the chance to eat dinner, take a bath, and wash my car, every time I died, yet still have time to get back before the game reloaded. Sonic 06 would be proud.
Not fake news at all, and not a photoshop image. Head to the official crash website and (using firefox) right click and inspect element whilst hovering over the purchase options in the "Buy" section. You'll see some lines of site code that are set to "Display: None". Uncheck those boxes and you'll see the "Select a Platform" option and an "Edition" option propogate on the site.
Hopefully meaning that at some point the game is...
Nope. Friday the 13th: the Game was a mess, and still has several issues. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is exactly the same. We game in an era where it's okay to release now and fix later. Fact - if a developer has concerns about the quality of their content, open-beta rather than in-house beta is the way to go.
Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't it cost in excess of tens of thousands £/$ to patch a game last gen? Wheras it's free this gen? (Xbox at least). That...
Absolutely not. Microsoft made so many bad choices with the Xbox One to start with. Pitching it as an all-in-one entertainment system to try to appeal to as many people as possible, and the rubbish surrounding always online and anti-game sharing was a big bump in the road. Thankfully they turned it around. I dare to think what state the brand would have been in if they hadn't.
Glad the carnival is back, missed that the first time.
I think it's stupid that Square felt the need to restructure the suits due to the Power Rangers dispute.
This shouldn't have been timed exclusive. More platform is more coverage and potential. That, and this game is hardly GOTY material. Not even close. Such a let down after (what I thought was great) DR3.
With how much money this campaign made, it's absolutely sick. I feel sorry for the 3rd party providers that have been swallowed up in negative press due to the ordeal.
True, but the feature would still be handy.
It's based on story progression according to the devs.
It was announced that the farm will adapt and change, as you progress through the game :)
I've said this from day 1 of Destiny. The social space needs a bulletin board that guardians can leave messages on, inviting / broadcasting what they're looking for.
In any case, it would have been a little tough (on PvP) to have Xbox One X at 60, and Xbox One / Xbox One S at 30. 4K on the other hand, Bungie need to push that.
There really are only so many failures a gamer will take before saying enough is enough. This game was released too early and without a much needed open beta across all platforms. Great game, don't get me wrong, but so so broken.
Great list. Sadly my personal fave will undoubtedly not see an arrival. Phantasy Star Online EP 1 and 2.
FPS I couldn't care less about. Resolution on the other hand... Bungie better push for 4K.
Exactly. I'm hopeful, as a big fan of the first game. Seriously concerned regarding their recent statements regarding the lore and the story though.
I think nearly everyone was surprised by how much they gave away at the beta. I remember one Ogre blocking my path, couldn't kill it due to unmarked level, so I sparrowed past it. I pretty much explored most of the moon and earth in the beta. Hopefully they dial that down as suggested.
Oh yeah? Well I'll have you know that I'll be enjoying it at .... 30fps, so there! xD
I didn't see a massive step forward, or at least I haven't done so far. Some new game mechanics and functions yes, but the core seems pretty much the same. So long as they work harder on exploration, I'm set.
In perspective, isn't this just merely £20 more than the Xbox One at launch? I don't see the big fuss. That £20 difference people paid in 2013, is a huge leap to better specs 4 years later. Sure, it's more costly than people thought, but it is what it is.
Destiny isn't too bad of a game. Though Bungie seriously need to be confident in what they are making. Destiny 1 was a mess due to Bungie constantly changing the game based on feedback. That's not a bad thing by normal standards, but when you have over 10 types of currency (that eventually get retired) and several loot systems (that eventually get retired) and several weapon buffs and nerfs (that constantly get nerfed and buffed) and a story that doesn't have a solid arc... it get...
