Things to take into account. Destiny 1 launched on a Tuesday, thus having a 24 hour gain on the Wednesday release of Destiny 2 when it comes to week - week sales. Many will have likely digitally pre-orderded to get midnight ready. When you take PC into account, which arrives soon, it's safe to say that D2 will outsell D1.
Love these games and played them on the Dreamcast. Those that are new to the series, take note...
Shenmue 1 and 2 are part of a larger story that was never concluded by the third and final Shenmue. Shenmue III is currently (at last) in development for PS4. Until this is announced for Xbox One officially, stick with the PS4 version of the above pack if you own both consoles.
Hopefully the third game comes to Xbox One, but last I checked, it's not been ...
F13 is a mixed bag for me. We scored it low because it's a broken mess that houses issues that could have and should have been addressed prior to launch. Hell they could have at least identified the problems with open betas. Nope, instead they set it loose under the notion that they'll cash in now and fix later.
That said, I really enjoy the game. It's so damn fun (when it works). Glad they're going dedicated servers next month.
Ubisoft have confirmed that this is a joke.
Maybe I worded that wrong. I'm not saying that I support MTs, anyone that knows me personally knows that I would never buy into them. In fact the only time I ever did that was to unlock the world map on AC: Black Flag. My point that I poorly made was that so long as they're cosmetic, they wont interupt the flow of the gameplay (in D2) so I see no harm.
I recall Bungie stating that the microtransactions would fund events and new quests (forgive me if I'm wrong), and as long as these purchases are cosmetic only, I see no harm. Choice is choice.
I enjoyed searching for Xur for the first few weeks. After that, it was a pain in the neck to have to take to the net and locate him via YouTube, Sites, or Forums.
Ark has potential, there's no denying that. The problem however is that the game has more bugs than a bushtucker trial, and while the game is / was safe from major criticism during preview phases... it loses that armor when it steps out as a fully fledged game. Unless the launch build is a magical package that rids the experience of all issues, I cant see a high score on the horizon sadly.
SW should have spent more time making the game stable and fixing bugs rather tha...
Much would have preferred one from CD Projekt Red, but I'll take Bethesda, they're a great dev too. That, and I've a tender spot for anything GoT related!
Really hope (if true) the timeline isn't from the one we all know from the books / TV. I would love a new experience set in the past, or near future from the conclusion.
Don't agree with this at all. Yes it's got roots on the PS, as did Devil May Cry, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, and many others.
Fact: The game being released on another platform (however it performs) will not harm your playtime with the game on your platform of choice, so what's the harm? Sure, the story has been running for a while and this is indeed a canon entry, but that's for the devs to catch everyone up to speed, and if not, there's always the inte...
Not Duke Nukem. His attitude in 2017 would be as welcome as a fart in a car. It was funny in the 90's, and it was still funny for a good while after that, but not anymore. Following DN: Forever (a fitting subname when looking at the loading times) I would be glad to see this series thrown in the bin.
Good. Loved FFXV, thought it was a fantastic game but hardly the best story from the series.
If only they did the same for the core game.... months after release and it's still got more bugs than a bushtucker trial.
Sonic 06 and the loading screen of "see you when your 90" along with the werehog from unleashed, will always stand out for me. The problem is this -
Sonic is super fast, and as the cost and difficulties of game development continues to climb, it gets harder for devs to create a Sonic game that has enough length in each level to please fans. This is why we have added gimmicks, to slow down the pace and break up the formula.
Creating a Sonic game...
Let's not start a war where one isn't needed. As for the game bombing, that remains to be seen. It doesn't look like a game that will bomb and already has quite the following. Time will tell I guess.
Yup no magic. Completely authentic to the time period, so it should be pretty brutal. In terms of loot / stats, I hope so too. From what I understand, the game is already complete. Devs are now spending the next several months boosting performance and bug squashing.
Over four hours of cutscenes, so I suspect (like you say) it will be full of dialogue and story rich.
That's exaclty it, couldn't agree more. Not GOTY material, but certainly worth the time. Brokasfawk (lol - love the name) is spot on too, those that enjoy SR should enjoy this.
It was that damned werehog I tell you!
Destiny has a bad rep for a number of things, chief among them is the lack of content and story that's tied to Bungie's website-gated lore cards.
Destiny 2 is a pure remedy to almost all of the issues I had with the first game. Gameplay has been refined, systems have been reworked, and there's a heap of content to sink into. It's odd to say, but it's really something you need to play (after playing D1) to feel the difference rather than see the differenc...
