Very true Woolly_
Which is a push I hope we see announced at E3, or at least broadly spoken about.
Exactly this ^
@MasterCornholio I'm completely with you that there's always room for improvement across all platforms and you make a valid point about needing studios. I'm genuinely intrigued as to what MS will have to annouce come E3.
Hey PhoenixUp
While I agree with your first point and respect your opinion to your second point. I did specifically point out the Xbox One X as the best place to play third party games, simply because it's true, not to pretend that the base model no longer exists.
No doubt about that MasterCornholio. Though as stated (and only in my opinion) they need to do much better in 2018 as far as 1P IP is concerned. Spencer himself has admitted that 1P IP needs bolstering.
Titles such as Halo Wars 2 and Super Lucky's Tale just don't cut it. I wouldn't say they were failing, and I apologise if that's how my opinion as been relayed to you, but there's certainly room for a lot of improvement.
Despite the services and the launch of Xbox One X, Microsoft deserve the score in this article. They have no hope of competiting with rival platforms this far into the gen, but they can at least work on their weaknesses rather than constantly boasting their strengths.
Thank you for the kindness, and Happy Christmas! :D
@FreddyFazbear - Only one of those three are on our list. We've made no secret about how X1 lacks the same exclusive punch as rival platforms.
Ha! Too true! Too true!
Thank you Bigpappy!
A Hat in Time is (in my opinion) the best platformer on Xbox One this year. With Nintendo enjoying Mario and PS4 enjoying Crash, Xbox needed Super Lucky's Tale to be much better than what it is.
Don't get me wrong, it's a stunning game with some decent mechanics, but standing alongside Crash and Mario for 2017 releases, it just doesn't hit the right mark.
It's a mess for sure, but 1 million players in 48 hours is pretty good.
About time!
If Destiny 2 follows the same roadmap as the first game, I'm out.
"To play Destiny is not a $60 experience at this point, it’s a $80 dollar one."
"The story line is nonsense, Osiris being a major character in lore literally gets a few cinematic towards the end of the dlc which ends nonsensically."
"Curse of Osiris has paper thin content for what’s on offer."
Amen!
That's the thing about reviews, it's all a matter of opinion. Several times I've thoroughly enjoyed a game that many others have not. Glad you had a good time with it :)
@maybelovehate $17 / £20 may be nothing to you, but when you factor in that the cost of the expansion is a third (or even half in some cases) the cost of a full game, you're not getting the content you paid for. I'll point out that across Destiny and Destiny 2, I've sunk in over 2000 hours worth of play. I love the franchise, and it's because of that that I've been so critical here - because there's just not enough in the proverbial box to justify an investment in...
That's totally your opinion and I respect that. However, this DLC in my own opinion is far from worth the asking price and far from what I would call expansive. Eight story missions - three of which are based on locations already present in the core game and the other five (two of which are almost exactly the same as one another) just doesn't do it for me. Bungie and Activision promised a better stream of content for Destiny 2 - this is not a good start. As per the difficulty, I hones...
Love how full of life this guy is
Hey there!
Sorry, about that. I didn't see the rating for PS4. At the time of posting I only saw the Xbox rating. We tend to include other platforms in a post if they're announced too.
