Not judging the score or the review here, but Sega have stated that review copies are being withheld to allow for a day one patch.

Ha! Too true, too true!
Alien Isolation is a brilliant game that plays with feeling of solitude very well. However unlikely a sequel to Isolation is, it's one of the best horror games this gen.
If only there was a workaround for Phantasy Star Online...
Cannot wait to see what they think of Red Dead Redemption 2.
That's absolutely fine, slam away :]
Improvements and updates to fix long standing issues with MCC three years post launch is not acceptable and not something I think they should be praised for. Enhancements yes, but resolving faults, absolutely not.
@Zerocarnage
"I do not know why some gamers are defending this though and I'm shocked that you can't stand behind the rest knowing it's wrong what they're doing."
I don't know if that's aimed at me or not, but I'll assume it is. I am not defending MTs or LBs, I simply think that we as a gaming community regardless of console choice, need to be careful about what we label as gambling and what we condemn. That's all...
No arguement here on the need for this to be looked into - I'm only suggesting that we be careful not to subject titles by default gambling just because there's MTs and Loot Boxes within. I think the word gambling is a pretty strong word for a game to have to carry (and possibly be age rated 18+ for - imagine FIFA rated 18+).
Again I don't agree with the notion or concept of either, unless done right, I only think that we should be careful not to tarnish every g...
That I can completely understand buddy, but does that really need to be classed as a form of gambling? Let's be subjective here, is that any different to (say) buying an online-only game knowing that it will only last as long as the server that upholds it? Please don't think that I'm just trying to be awkward, I'm not.
I just think we need to have more context than simply saying Loot Boxes and MTs should be banned or labled as gambling. We need shades of gr...
I think there needs to be very careful consideration moving forward with the current controversy surrounding MT and Loot Boxes. I don't condone either of them, but we shouldn't place all chips under the same umbrella.
Games that you pay for that gate progression behind paywalls (of any kind) should certainly be looked at. However games like Overwatch and FIFA need not apply. I mean is it really that different to going into a shop and buying stickers for a sticker b...
Much rather there be a prequel than a sequel.
Very true. Same over here in the UK.
Not that I condone it, but age ratings are guidelines more than anything else. It's illegal for retailers to sell games to children that are age rated higher than their age. It's not at all illegal to play them.
Not until spring 2018, and maybe still then..
No, Silent Hill 2 and Fatal Frame / Project Zero 1 and 2 (for me) stand as unmatched horror games.
South Park has and always will be controversial for the topics it selects for its humour. Some find it funny, some don't find it funny. Some don't find it offensive, some find it offensive. If anyone is the latter of either two, maybe the game isn't for you.
South Park didn't gain 44 million followers for being anything other than what it is.
@thekhurg (Sorry if this doesn't push to your notifications - haven't worked out how to reply to comments individually). Yup, 110% with you on the last gen hardware holding back current gen. Will never understand how that works, but it was horrible to put up with.
Exactly - and thank heavens we're not tethered to old-gen hardware this time. That vault-space was agony thanks to legacy consoles.
My problem with this is that although the new phrases will give players an idea as to how Cole will react per prompt, it doesn't really give any context as to what players are trying to pull from witness / suspect.
The selling point of this game was to interview suspects / witnessess, and decide if or not they were telling the truth, lying, or a bit of both. I fail to see how the new option phrases will help with a deduction, outside of (as afforementioned) knowing how...
