While I don't agree that the price is enticing, the lineup has never been about exclusives. Phil has always been leaning on "best place to play 3rd party". Thank the heavens Halo and Gears were absent this year.

Microsoft:
Sequel to Jade Empire.
Sequel to Blue Dragon

Given the creator is currently working on a new unnanounced console game that's set to be revealed this month.

I'm actually wondering whether this logo will be used for game cases. Kind of how BC games had new sleeves to point out they work on X1. I wonder if this logo will be for sleeves / games that are optimized for Scorpio. (Yes, I know all games will run on the scorpio / X1 / X1S).

I completely appreciate that buddy. Though when all is said and done, there was a better way to go about it rather than simply uploading a video with a blunt title (facts aside) and little else to explain it outside of a link that takes you to articles from over a year ago. I think that's the big out-rage here, rather than the material, the delivery of it. I'm with you in what you say, I just think there was a better way to relay it.

Right you are ElementX, but the point still stands regardless as to who is the sponsor and who is founder, is there really a need in 2017 to separate enthicity / gender / etc.. just to point out that a gamer is a gamer and we're all one in the same? You're completely spot on with your post, I just want to make that clear.

Exactly the point made in the article. No need to seperate gender / ethnicity / background, just to point out that everyone is welcome.

I couldn't agree more. They seem to be going down this quiet route, (hopefully) holding out on some pretty big surprises. If they're smart, Scorpio will be showcased, dated, and priced swiftly. Then move onto whatever they have up their sleeves. Sony have done brilliantly by snatching up a heap of marketing deals, it almost seems as though MS has next to nothing. Fingers crossed we see more than Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2. As a consumer, I want to see new reveal...

It's certainly an interesting time, and an even more interesting process to lead us to here and now. Cancellation of games, closing of studios, rebranding etc.. E3 better be good.

Agreed. Given the state of Microsoft / Xbox in the Japanese market, it totally makes sense. It's a shame however that Xbox has been completely cut out of the picture, rather than going multi-plat. Nevertheless, it is what it is :)

The review seems to have been removed.

Definitely agree with you there. There are issues that could have easily have been picked up via open / closed Beta's across all platforms, as well as in-house tests. Heaps of potential in this game, it just needs addressing.

Just that they're making "headway". Nothing specific yet.

It sure is. Hopefully the switch for matchmaking doesn't take too long. All in all however, that's a pretty good patch. I've yet to see the new cinematics. That black haired guy in the intro may have caught a break and been swapped out xD

It's a shame really, because this game has heaps of potential for the long-term. Bugs, server issues, and other problems could have been picked up early via open-beta across all platforms. Nevertheless, for an indie game that offers a great deal of longevity and genuine tension, I don't regret the investment.

We really did! :D

You might not agree with the score, that's totally okay. However I will point out that this game has recieved a wide range of high scores across the board, with waves of 9's, 9.5's and even a perfect 10 by some outlets. That's because it's a beautifully crafted game that deserves the acclaim. There's nothing biased about it.

Ha, well if you do, you wont have to ridiculously travel to and from the official site just to get the game's backstory :D

In terms of cross platform gaming, I would only feel comfortable if they were forced to use a controller, or if console players were able to use keyboard and mouse.

Speaking as a potential consumer, and not as an outlet, I think it's only fair that many will have lost faith in the project regardless as to whether or not it is built from scratch - assuming all of this is true of course.

Still, Microsoft push so hard to tap into the Japanese market. Scalebound was probably one of the few titles they had going that would have appealed to them. Cancelling it in the first place without decent explanation was wrong. If this is a comebac...
