I still don't get how you can buy a 400$ system to play 2-3 mediocre titles. Or even worse a 500$ system!
I have a wii u but I have no time to play CoD on it... too many other great games atm. And if I need a quick match I play BlackOps2.
Nobody cares... BRING IT TO PC.
That is a general problem with games... Most of them are just a walk in the park. The whole 3rd person cover shooter system makes everything just easy and boring.
Wii U also had 2mill sales after launch. Just saying....
Exactly the way to go. We'll see what happens with xbone and ps4 but i'll give it a few years and see what games will come out.

I totally agree. It's just sad that soo many people blindly chose better textures and slightly increased resolution over true control and gameplay innovation... Can't imagine playing open world games anymore without having the map/inventory right there in my hands :D
Then we have 3 consoles and all of them have the same controller and all of them have the same games with the same gameplay. Really?
The gamepad is the only reason I bought the system and the reason why I bought AC IV on the WiiU. Because I basically never have to open that stupid map! Of course alot of people are used to bad menus/inventories from other consoles, but as a PC gamer I really love the efficiency.
You shouldn't have to cycle through endless lists with a D-Pad...
Because hating on nintendo is the flavor of the month.
It's really hard to bring in new ideas if you have exactly the same controllers as last gen :-\ all you can do is build some bigger worlds and add better textures with the new hardware. But I'm pretty sure we are going to see bigger and better looking 3rd person / 1st person shooters and racing games and button masher RPG style adventures (GoW style) and that's it.
On pc with oculus rift there is new technology and even WiiU brings new possibilities to the table. But sadl...
Why risk a somewhat uncommon setting when you can print money with military shooters?
So this is true next gen then. F2p and microtransactions in every game. Glad I haven't bought anything yet.

Do you realize that we have high res textures on PC games since 5 years and games are cheaper than console? The textures are made in high res and then scaled down for consoles. Not the other way around^^
You are right about the models though. They do take longer to make.

With KZ:Shadowfall and Knack??? Oh yeah glory glory. Let's all sit in a circle and sing worship songs to Mark Cerny that built us a lowcost gaming PC with AMD hardware that only plays a few mediocre titles. Sony has done a good PR job...

Reasons against of the top of my head:
-expensive
-no games
-pay for online
-no backwards compatibility
-micro transactions and/or ftp in every game...
-PC is still better in every way.
