I just hate it when they try to make you think a console is the most advanced thing ever and nothing else in the world could do the things it does. When in reality it's just a lowcost gaming PC.
I could have told them from the start that almost no devs would use the kinect. The devs are very lazy even with the wii u gamepad. Which is very easy to support, but so far all we've seen is some inventors stuff and if you're lucky a scrollable map (in most cases static minimal without interactivity).
Kinect is like a whole new world compared to that and it needs alot of testing and fixing, at least that's how I imagine it. No multiplat game will ever really deeply suppor...

If they implement the gamepad in the right way, wii u will be the best version and the one that I'll buy. Open world games are just phenomenal with the gamepad. I'd take gameplay improvements over a few more pixels any day. On Consoles at least. If I'm looking for graphics i go with pc version.
If I'm playing assassins creed or skyrim with 360 controller i could throw that thing through a window every time I have to scroll though stupid menus with the dpad or even wors...
Oh when we can wish for anything I would like The last of us on PC! In full 1080p with constant 60fps.. that would make the game even better. Also beyond two souls. Then we could make the official naked shower mod, because that's what we do.
Also while you're at it how about GTA V for the wii u (and pc). I would love to browse the map and scroll through radio stations on the gamepad. Or use it as back mirror, data when flying. Etc etc.

@abizzel1: you're joking right? They release some ports of games that are 6-12 months old and have been on all other platforms and then expect good sales?
Mass Effect, NFS improved old games. Madden only sells in us. Fifa for the wiiu didn't even have all the features...
I got mass effect and the NFS game because I waited with playing them because I wanted to play them on the wii u. But I'm one in a million. Most gamers already played all the other games! ...

The only reason to buy a console are the games in my opinion. Hardware does not matter at all with consoles. Buying a console because of its "superior" hardware just makes no sense, the PS4 could have all the power in the world. It would still not play Mario. Or Forza. If you wanna play Mario/Zelda/DK but go for PS4 because of better hardware you have just wasted alot of money.

LOL guys. Its getting ridiculous with these wii u rumors.. Just stop it, nintendo won't ditch the wii u. It would be a very bad move because they would fuck over all existing wii u buyers - their most loyal customers. Why would they wanna do that.
@Tiger yeah but if they take away the gamepad the games would be designed differently. A game like wonderful 101 wouldn't be made at all. No 3rd party dev would take the time to add menus/maps to the gamepad when it's just an addon and only 10% of users have it.
I guess this comes down to personal preference but as a PC gamer I don't want another system that does exactly the same thing as my PC, gives me the same experience. I expect something different from a console. And...

WiiU is good value for its price. Actually now is a bad time to buy a ps4 or xb1. Ps4 doesn't even have all its services enabled and xb1 forces you to get kinect both of them are very expensive and have few games.
wiiU has its flaws but it has already a verygood library and full backwards compatibility including off screen play. And its cheap compared to xb1 ps4.

Best android shooters are those that support gamepads like the moga pro. I like dead trigger. Fast and fun action with gamepad support.
Sony did it with the ps3 for a loong time and the last time i checked their still in business...

When last gen ports are only 30fps, you realize that the mighty powerhouse PS4 is just a lowcost gaming PC.
I hate 3rd person shooters, could never get into a GoW game. Wasn't planning on getting the xb1 anyway so... For the next ~2 years I'm fine with my PC+WiiU.
