Omg all the oracles here... Everyone seems to know the future. In this market anything can happen. Why don't you just chill and enjoy some games instead of trying to predict something that is unpredictable? In many ways it's the press that influences what people think with their stupid articles. Don't take these guys too seriously and if you have fun with the wii u even though it's supposedly doomed and a horrible console, don't feel bad about yourself.

Amazing post. That's exactly how I feel about my wii u. I love the system but people just don't understand it and what nintendo is trying to do with it. And by that I mean consumers and developers.
If the last gen has sold like 160mil consoles combined and the new one just launched it never makes sense to release games for the new consoles.
Don't forget the xb1 and ps4 install base is even lower than the wii u atm.
I have bought every ubisoft game that was released on wii u even though I have a good gaming pc. The gamepad just offers something that is way more interesting to me than resolution or textures. And I will buy Watchdogs for it.

PS vita only does remote play. You can mirror the game to it but not have a different image on it like wii u. People have to stop comparing vita and wii u. It's a different concept...
And using a tablet or smartphone yeah but have fun switching between your phone and gamepad all the time. With wiiu the 2nd screen is in the perfect spot because it was designed to do exactly that. Everything else is a workaround imho.

Why would this game get scored again? It came out a year ago it was scored. Then it got a release for other systems a year later with updated graphics. It's still the same game!
I agree :) I just wanted to point out that the wii u is not so different from any other console launch except maybe the original wii. One year in and the wii u already has some great exclusive and enough 3rd party titles to keepme busy. But the doom talk is still going crazy and I don't really get it. Because I have one since launch and I never regretted my purchase. On the contrary I have already some great memories.
Whatever. WiiU had a good launch at the end of 2012 (talking about sales) but then Nintendo has left the console on the side because they were concentrating on selling the 3DS (which worked obviously). It's only logical that they didn't sell well. They even said so themselves!
Yeah they made some bad marketing decisions and they started developping games too late (again, the result of focusing on 3DS) and that completely killed their one year lead.

Not releasing half finished games is a good thing. But using a half finished game to push consoles at launch and then delay it is a shitty move.

I agree. All that wii u needs is a true system seller. And they will come, I'm sure of it. If X is only have as good as good as the trailer (knowing how the previous games in the xeno series where) it will be mind blowing.
It's always the games that sell consoles... Been proven by 7 generations of consoles. It's not the hardware and not price (unless it's ridiculous like the ps3 launch) it's just the games. We haven't seen any true system seller for wiiu but I'm pretty sure once they come it will be fine. It probably won't win the console war but it's still a good system. I just love it so far!
