Am i the only one around here who thinks posting the rumoured resolution of an upcoming game is not news?
Great article. I will never understand how you could spend 500$ on a xb1 when you can go for similar powerful gaming pc with the same money. And this is right when the console launches. In a year you will get an even stronger pc for that money.
WiiU is a great little system and I'm having alot of fun with it due to several facts:
-offscreen TV / couch coop with my wife!
-amazing fun exclusives
-new and interesting gameplay or at least improvements thx to th...
I feel like alot of sites are trying to hate it. Because it's on wii u and everyone is supposed to hate everything about the wii u... But this game is a real gem.
And i love the difficulty. This game is 10x more hardcore than a simplified tunnel lvl shooter with blood, guts and nudity everywhere!
I love the game so far. When you can give CoD a 9/10 every year for 6 years you can give this game a 9/10 even though gameplay and art design is similar to its predecessor.
And IMHO it's a good thing they didn't change too much. It's just a joy to play!
I wonder how long it will take until people realise that games on the ps4 aren't better just because they are 1080p/60fps...
People seem to think the same thing about the xb1 :) it's not really that simple of course but the xb1 is not that much stronger than the wii u. On paper maybe but in the end both systems produce very good looking 720p games and sometime 1080p.

-modern CPU = low cost amd pc component
-touch pad? I know a system with a touchscreen that does everything the ps4 can do with its pad 10 times better.
-remote play is nice to have, but having actual additional information on a interactive 2nd screen is another level. And most devs won't bother programing features for the 10% of users that have both vita and ps4.

If you have 500 bucks to spend on a console get a pc. Honestly, you get soooo much more value out of it. MS biggest problem from my point of view is that they have the best and most versatile gaming platform that will endure every console generation. The PC. And what did they do with it? You get my point I hope? Wii u is getting bashed because it has only 5 SP exclusives coming (there is also Mario kart and smash bros) and ps4 praised for its 5 exclusives. :-) makes sense right?
Btw titanfall is not exclusive. (Thank god) Btw2 I'm a pc gamer.
Name 5 upcoming exclusive titles for any other console. :-)

There is one very well known game series that tries to innovate with every title : final fantasy. Each title has a different theme and system. And that is not always a good thing imho. The problem is, for my taste ff7 had the best system (materia) and all other FF are less interesting because they use something completely different. How I would Loooove a new FF with the materia system...

Actually the WiiU version makes most sense if you can choose^^ It's one of the best 2 player couch games :) and fully 1080p/60fps as well.
I'm fine with that. But then you get what you get. If Dev decides their game should run in 720p that's how it's gonna be. You knew what you where getting into, no reason to get upset.
I feared this was going to happen and now it actually became true. Gaming news nowadays are just people stating the resolutions of upcoming titles. Feels like bashing a kid that is already on the ground since 10min and stopped screaming 5min ago...
If you care about resolutions get a friggin pc and now please give us some real news.
If you want my money release it for pc or wii u.
I feel sad for all people that are constantly hating on the wii u and didn't get one. They are missing sooo many great games.
If they bring the same amount and quality of games on ps4, it is possible.
There is another factor though: the ps2 was a good DVD Player and alot of people just spent a little extra to get a ps2 when they were looking for a DVD Player back in the day. I personally got the ps2 bundle with 3 games. I didn't even finish one of the games but used it for years to watch dvds. (I played the games on my pc with emulation --> 1080p)
