Yeah so with the wii u everybody think it Sucks but now with Sony it's the best thing ever...
It's a great feature, playing like this since a year. But I can't imagine it being anywhere near as good with those small sticks... If you want true 2nd screen gaming get the system that was made for it. Imho.

Ps4 might get interesting down the line but not right now.. I didn't have the ps3 so if the ps4 gets backwards compatibility in some way I'm interested.
Ah fps with wii mote pointer controls are just the best thing ever. So smooth and precise. Looking forward to this.
But that's the thing. Nintendo is focusing on different gameplay rather than having better performance. That's why I always say PC + wii u is the best way to go. You get the best quality multiplats and innovative gameplay exclusives. And you can always borrow a ps for games like TLOU like I did :-)
Nintendo admitted it themselves, they focused too much on the 3ds last year. Now it's wii u time.
Finally an article that speaks the truth. There are no interesting games on PS4 at launch. People are preordering Killzone because there is nothing else... I really don't know why people are hyping so much.
To be honest (and this is of course subjective) even the WiiU had a better launch lineup with 2D Mario, ZombiU, NintendoLand and the Ports.

No offense, but that is exactly why console gamers shouldn't really care about stuff like resolution when they have no idea how gaming systems work. Resolution was the least of the devs problems with last gen.
The biggest limiting factor was RAM. That's where the new gen has obviously improved most.

Guys chill. CoD Ghosts is a PORT. The game was made for xbox360 and then PORTED to the other consoles. In addition the ps4/xb1 are new for the devs. They have to get used to them first. I'm pretty sure the next CoD will be exclusivly made for next gen systems and run in 1080p/60fps on both systems, but this is the transition time.

Maybe there is a problem with your console? We're doing 2-screen all the time and I never felt any issues. But obviously the console is capable of alot more than 360/ps3.
Btw: It's still a mistery to me how they have problems marketing this console. Every household with more than 1 gamer NEEDS two-player-two-screen local gameplay...
You guys do realize that wii u runs the game twice? Once in 720p for TV and once in 480p for gamepad screen.
And yes you can play with 2 players locally on 2 separate screens. Even Blops2 could do that...

I grew up in the days where almost every new game was a new experience. As a PC gamer I have/had steering wheels for driving games, joysticks for flight sim/space shooters, mouse+keyboard for FPS and RTS, gamepads for action games.

It's simple. People buy consoles because of games. Ps3/360 have a huge library and still the most popular games coming out for them.
Here is what I think is going to happen: It will take another 2-3 years until the software for ps3/360 dries out and during this time the 360 and ps3 will continue to be the best selling consoles. WiiU, PS4 and XB1 sales will suffer because of this. Right now the fact that CoD: Ghosts is coming for PS3/360 is going to cut HUGELY into ps4/xb1 sales. ...

Those devs don't know how to make games. All they care about is how to milk money out of us. 90% of mobile games are PayToWin.
That being said, i would LOVE some real and good games on android that support real controllers. There are enough android controllers out there, but not all devs implement them.

Of course it's real but the wii u is a great system. I think the problem really could be saturation. Everyone has either a wii or ps3/360 or all of them. Why buy another system. Especially when you're more on the casual side.
You so don't get it. Just buy a xb1 and play the same game with the same controller over and over and over. Because that is obviously what you want.
Nintendo goes out of their comfortzone EVERYTIME they release something new. They release a system with pure motion/pointer controls. They release a handheld with a 3D no glasses display. And now they do a Tablet gamepad, that combines the best of the tablet and controller world. Are you blind?

You don't just buy the console, you also get that amazing tablet gamepad, that gives you something special and useful in every game. It's well worth the price.
The XBone maybe has a stronger processor, but that is all you get. It's just a 500$ hardware upgrade to get the exact same experience like xbox360 with slightly better graphics.
If you buy a console for it's graphical capabilities you're doing it wrong. 1-2 year old PCs already prod...
