Give it a try, metroid prime is one of the best games ever. The controls, the setting and atmosphere it just works. And it's something completely different and fresh if you never played it.

Tell me one game that was good just because of graphics? Graphics are there to catch you and suck you into a game, give atmosphere. Then gameplay and/or story takes over and at that point graphics basically don't matter at all anymore. As soon as you start caring for a character because it is well written you forget about pixels.

Don't tell me you have bought the ps4 thinking you would be playing everything in 60fps? It's a console, they will always run graphically intense games at 30fps. Consoles have to be in the low price range which means less powerful hardware.

Lets wait and see. Last time (gta4) it took them another year after release to make the game playable without bugs after the PC release. Also it just seems wrong to buy a game full price when it's over one and a half years old... I bought a used ps3 last summer very cheap and gta5 was included. So I'm in no hurry :p
All that extra stuff exists not because ubisoft wanted to add interesting gameplay or new ideas. No it exists because it generates money. And that is the issue.
Whenever money is the focus, quality will suffer.
The game comes one and a half year after the initial release. Of course it should look like a new game when it took them that long. I will be patient. Gta IV took another year after release to get bug free...
Both parts can make a good game. I love games with a good story, something deep that makes you think. Also I can play games that have basically zero story. Pure gameplay awesomeness. Like side scrolling shooters, racing games...
And then on rare occasion we get a game that has both. Gameplay that just feels right and a story that keeps you going. Final Fantasy 7 was one of those for me. Or Half Life. The last of us of course.

Bullshit. The real problem is hype. Games get announced 2-3 years before they release and that's when the hype train starts. The publishers build up so much expectancies over those 2-3 years it's impossible for a game to hold up to that (Best example would be watchdogs).
Making huge games is complicated and the bigger the game the harder it is to test every scenario. A game like skyrim is almost impossible to fully debug because there is soo much content in it. And games are ...
Dude my PC screen (when I'm gaming) is 42". Also the screen is not even in the same room as my tower :) and it's in front of a couch.
Btw I find it funny that sony has made the perfect controller for a gaming PC with ms windows while the new ms xb1 controller doesn't even connect wireless to a PC. It's fail on so many lvls and I guess ms just does t need my money.
Unity 1.04 on pc has no glitches and runs with 40-60 fps on my machine. (Phenom 2 x4 4ghz, gtx970) my hardware costs about the same as a ps4 :p
So it looks OK (sorry but when you're used to graphics on a PC this game is nothing special), why is there so much hype? Nobody knows if the story or gameplay will be any good. To me it looks like a boring 3rd person shooter so far.
People seem to forget the biggest difference between ps3 and ps4 is the ram. The bump to 1080p is nice but the difference in processing power isn't huge. (modern pc gpus have even more raw power than the cpu+gpu of the the ps4 combined!). But the ps3 had only 512mb (!) RAM. That's 0.5 GB, where the ps4 has 8 GB, that's 16x as much. And that's exactly why we see all games having huge levels now, sharper textures and much more stuff in it.
