Microsoft keeps talking about putting more focus on gaming for windows. You just expect stuff like Forza to come to pc when they talk like that. There are enough racing games on pc, so that is not the issue. But I would try a forza game since I've never played one. But I guess they don't want/need my money.
VII, VIII, X, XIII, VI, IX, IV. Didn't finish the rest because I didn't enjoy them enough. I prefer the FFs that have a futuristic setting. And 7&8 are on top because they introduced me to the series.
Obvious troll is obvious.
There are a few rules to pc gaming imho.
-don't buy games day one without reading others opinions. Steam reviews are all that you need for the most part.
-only pay full price for a game if you want to support the developer. Usually games get their first price reduction/sale after 6 months or even less.
-stuff almost always gets fixed just be patient. If not by the devs then by the community.
-and yeah, if ...
I have the wii u since day one. I love it. I love it because (unpopular opinion I know) it offers unique gameplay mechanics with the game design and the gamepad. I bought all the third party titles for it even though my main platform is the pc. I still very much enjoyed assassins creed 4 on it even though it ran below 30fps most of the time. Because that is how an open world game should be played, map in your hand, nothing taking you out of the experience.
But in the end it...
@deadpolio: hmm I cannot agree. I think you should never be forced to push the map/inventory button every 5 seconds (often with a 1-2 sec loading time) that takes you out of the experience.
I would love to play the witcher 3 with the wii u gamepad for example. It's made for open world titles, sadly the wii u hardware could not handle the witcher 3 :p
I'll still keep my wii u. Because there are games coming that are must play for me. But the E3 didn't change anything. It's still a first party only system that gets about one game per 6 months worth buying. (There is more than that but not many people who enjoy the more grown up games will also enjoy the kids oriented stuff)
For me personally that was the most disappointing e3 since the wii u came out. There was nothing really new and exciting for me. It was basically all...
You are correct and wrong at the same time :) you can't trust them in general because even if they were completely unbiased, it's still their opinion of something. And when I read the reviews I don't want them to talk about bugs all the time, because in 9/10 cases bugs eventually get fixed - in case of the witcher 3, very fast.
From what I understand different hardware causes different problems on pc. I personally never had any issues with the gtx970. Zero problems! And I ...
Games sell hardware, as always. Give me a brilliant game developed for VR and I'll spend money.
CDPR might be the studio that saves the gaming industry... Amazing games, no DRM, free dlc and they make huge profits.
If a game costs 20$+ I need to know that it is enjoyable for me before I buy it. Either someone I trust recommends it or I can try it out for myself. These are the only ways I'm gonna buy your game. So for me the tryout function is definitely a plus. I'm not sure if I'm gonna use it though. Usually I know exactly which games I want anyway.
The most amazing thing for me in this game are the side quests and the characters. This is on of the few games that can really pull off interesting optional stuff.
The only problem for me is the balance. If you're into side quests and completing areas before moving on you're constantly 5 levels higher than everything you're doing which makes everything a bit too easy. It usually takes only 2-3 hits to kill anything related to the main story line. So i decided to give it a ...
I don't see the point of steam machines really. Maybe for a niche market of people that want to switch from console to pc and are afraid of building their own and can not afford a regular Pre - built gaming PC?
I will always suggest building your own pc if you want to get into pc gaming, it's so much fun even though you might run into minor problems. It's also fun to solve those and feel that sense of achievement once everything runs and you get to test your own machine to...
As I said, if money is not an issue spend a little more. But sadly for me it is something to think about and that's why i go for "quality/dollar". The difference between 1080p and 1440p is not something I'm willing to spend an additional 500 bucks or something. Because for me it's not that big of a difference.
Also hardware requirements are heavily dependant on consoles. I upgraded my PC with a gtx 970 for 350 bucks this winter (Phenom 2 x4 4ghz, 8 GB RAM, there ...
Now you know how pc gamers felt the last 2-3 years of the 360/ps3 lifespan.
Going from 1080p to 1440p is not worth a thousand bucks in my opinion. It's just not that big of an upgrade. Just get a PC for 700$ or less and be happy with 1080p.
Only if money is something you have to think about of course (like most of us :) ).
The ps3 is just amazing. Because of one reason: the games. I bought one used a year ago and now I'm crawling through the exclusives (still not done one year later). I'm mainly a PC gamer but in my opinion the ps3 is not an option it is mandatory if you are a gamer. There are so many masterpieces on it that you just can't go wrong.
Maybe I will say the same about the ps4 in a few years, but right now it's just nothing special. If you have a PC there is nothing the ps4 c...
Thx :) I wasn't sure if this is good news or bad :D
Dude... Why would they model a penis on Geralt if they never show his private area (the viewing angles in the screens are never shown like this in the game)? That would just be a waste of time.
I play with a gtx970 and an old phenom 2 x4 @3.9ghz, 8 GB RAM and i get about 50 fps in the country and 40 in the city with all settings at max(ultra) including hairworks @1080p.
very good optimization imho. I could reduce some settings to reach almost constant 60fps but 40-50 fps is fine for me in this kind of game. I prefer having full visual quality over those fps, fuck me right.
I loved out for a few days. But it didn't motivate me enough to keep me going somehow. For a guy like me the career mode just isn't al that motivating. I rarely drive the cars/courses I like and winning isn't really rewarding.
