One of the best games this year for sure, guys play it! You won't be disappointed.
Sales wise that's how it looks like at the moment. But the only console of the three I own is the wii u. Why you ask? It is the cheapest and has the best exclusives right now. Ergo best addition to my gaming PC. Ps4 just doesnt have the games to justify a purchase...
It's true though. The wii u has some amazing games on it. The ps4 has nothing going for it yet. It has potential but I won't buy the console for one game that appears to be quite good (bloodborne). While the wii u has several really good titles out right now, and the best is yet to come (chronicles x, zelda u). You don't buy the ps4 for the games that are out now. You buy it because of the potential, because you know eventually it will get the gems.
Also: please don't ...
Mario games are so not about graphics... Nintendo games in general always focus on gameplay. The graphics are just functional, supporting the gameplay. Nintendo is pretty much misunderstood in that regard. Graphics are so important to many gamers that they can't enjoy many amazing titles because the graphics are not super realistic.
But nintendo really has problems. If I didn't know zelda and chronicles x are coming I would have already sold my wii u. The most news they are ge...
Long load times on a 8gb ddr5 system... What went wrong? Is it the hard drive? Can't you put an ssd in you ps4?
Yeah I agree, if I had to decide between only ps4 or only wii u then I'd go for ps4 as well. But as an addition to pc I'd go for wii u.
Would you have enough games if you only had the ps4?
If you think that way consoles are only worth buying at the end of its life span when you get amazing deals and tons of exclusives (that's how I do it) in the meantime PC has me covered with all I need + backwards compatibility and emulators...
Announcing pricing almost one year before release. OK...?
Would be nice. I'm not going to buy the ps4 no matter how good bloodborn is. Maybe I'll play it on pc in a few years. Or I'll play it on the ps4 when I get a good deal on a used one in a few years.
I buy consoles because of games not because of brand loyalty or design or other weird reasons. There is no upside in getting consoles early, only downsides.
That's why I got the wii u (great games) and i also why i wont get the ps4 anytime soon. Talking about a new system from nintendo? I don't even think about that... These systems are all cpu+gpu+ram+hdd in a different case. They are all the same thing doing the same thing: playing games. It's stupid enough that we have ...
Hilarious. The difference between 30 and 60fps is totally apparent. Even my wife notices the difference immediately and she isn't really a gamer. On PC there are games where you can change the fps lock in the settings so it's very easy to compare. And resolution, well if you know where to look (edges and texture sharpness) it's even more easy to see. But resolution is never the full story. With modern filters like various anti aliasing methods you can make 720p look almost as good...
"Remestered" is a crappy term.... It gives us no information. There are ports and there are remakes. Ports are the same game running on a different system (every ff7 release that is not on psx is a port) but remakes are completely new versions of the same game with a new graphics engine usually tuned gameplay and story telling. (For example: resident evil 1 for gamecube, and recently they released a port of that remake for pc...).
Remakes are amazing. They usually i...
I'm still very happy with my PC and wii u on the side. Got everything I need. Ps4 will become interesting when it has more worthy exclusives.
Can't fuckin wait.
I think it was super mario land on the Gameboy(wasn't my gameboy). Or wolfenstein on the pc? And there was a racing game called stunts for pc where you could build your own tracks in the early 90ies. We played the shit out of that one and the then shared our own tracks by exchanging 3.5" disks :D Ah the memories...
OMG Microsoft, finally. What took you so long? Goes to show how "important" gaming on windows is for Microsoft. When the biggest competitor has its controller working (wirelessly) on windows one and a half year before them!
Why Microsoft hasn't released a wireless option for their xb1 controller on pc is beyond me... So no, xb1 controller isn't superior at all, it's not even wireless! Stick size, resistance, placement and triggers are down to personal preference. But the ps4 controller has just more useful features. It's wireless on pc and it has a touchpad that is a pretty decent mouse for browsing etc.
(Strictly talking pc here, I have neither ps4 nor xb1)
That's exactly why I bought mine. DVD player that also had FFX. In the end I played all my ps2 games on pc with hd graphics even though I own a ps2 :D
I bought one for my PC. It's the best pc gamepad thanks to the touchpad and an all around good controller.
But! I bought some rubber things for my analog sticks because they got uncomfortable after a while.
And the battery! What did sony think? I have to plug into the charger after every gaming session. If I forget it once I run out of battery the next time I play and that kinda sucks.
Just don't buy on launch day?
