...so important to you?
When I'm playing on-line I want to chat with others currently playing along side me to improve my team's chances of winning.
I would rather Sony put Skype on the PS3 so you could use it to call anyone.
...but I have to say I am more looking forward to Bad Company 2. The reason being the destructible environments. At the end of a multiplayer round the damage and destruction imposed on the map was impressive. Made me feel like I had been involved in a full scale battle.
Oh yes, the maps in BBC were huge and made sniping more of a realistic challenge.
...if they actually tried to make a good movie to game tie in. Look at how dire the recent Terminator game was...mind you, the movie was not much better.
...my PSP will be getting lots of use later this year.
...hype and marketing. You should never under estimate the stupidity of those who take anything at face value.
Putting the technical differences aside, how does the game play? Is it just another movie tie in or something better?
...has basically said to NZ gamers not to expect the music video store anytime soon.
As for the rest of the update this week...we got mainly wallpapers and a couple of gameplay videos. Disappointing update.
You're exactly the kind of person that made it possible for the US to invade Iraq based on a "weapons of mass destruction" campaign.
What I'm saying is play the game for yourself and the pass YOUR judgement based on your first hand experience. If the game comes out and fails to live up to expectation then its you that looks like an A$$ and not those you were parroting.
...aint it great that the PSP Go also supports the Micro SD card as well then.
Is it going to be better than Forza 2...hell yes. Will it be so absolutely perfect meaning there will never be a need for Forza 4...hell no.
The way the press is making Forza 3 sound is though nothing else will ever be needed. Let the game do the talking and leave the bull$hit to sales and marketing.
...pretty damn good except for a lack of other cars beig reflected in the paintwork. What let Forza 2 down for me in terms of visuals was the environments. They just looked so bland when compared to the cars.
Forza 3 looks to be an improvement over Forza 2 visuals in nearly every respect which is what you'd hope for in a sequel.
Does Forza 3 look better than GT5 or GT5 better than Forza 3? Seriously, what does anyone realistically gain by giving a damn? I doubt e...
...would support gloves sporting tracking nodes. Imagine playing a game like Dungeon Master (from the days of the Amiga and Atari ST) wearing tracking gloves to ensure 100% precise control - down to the smallest movement of one of your fingers.
Walking around the dungeons, having to rummage through piles of debris, searching bodies, picking up weapons and coins. Holding a sword and scratching a marker into the wall so you know where you have been or maybe a torch to illuminate ...
...I think they should agree on a baseline chipset and memory but then leave it up to manufacturuers to build in extra bells and whistles. If you want all the gaming plus built in Wi-Fi then buy the console from Sony. If want the same gaming capability but no Wi-Fi, buy the one manufactured by Philips, etc.
...is just fine.
If you can't control your motorskills enough to use a controller then what hope do you have playing a game with your entire body?!
...and there are hardly any games being played that use the first map pack. They need to release stats on how many people purchased it and this new one so people can decide if its worthwhile.
Don't get me wrong, the maps look great but its not like on COD4 where it seemed like everyone purchased them.
By the way, a 4-map pack for COD:WOW comes out and is not much more than the 2-map pack for K2. They need to start dropping some of the prices for DLC content!
...as it was going to cost more than the game just so my kids could dress up their characters in a few more clothes. In New Zealand a costume pack goes for $3.90!!!!! This should be more like $0.99!!!
Most DLC is a rip off. I mean come on, offering platinum games for the PSP at the same price as the physical disc media!?! Hell, you can't ever get these games at those prices in the stores as they offer them for less. Plus you get the game on physical media as part of the deal...
...the PSP Go is the ultimate portable gaming platform. I will stick my PSP-3000 until the price of the Go drops to something realistic.
I so can't wait for PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe on the PSP!!!!!
...looks like fun but by no means does it look to be pushing the IPhone/Touch at all. Certainly not something that warrants the use of OpenGL2.0
Has anyone come out and stated that the upcoming range of new PSP titles, not the PSOne classics, are going to be compatible with the PSP-1000?
PSP-1000 32MB RAM. PSP-2000/3000/GO 64MB RAM.
...profiteering as not only does DD mean substantially less manufacturing and distribution costs but it also obliterates the second hand market.
To make DD truly work:
1. Prices should be 20% cheaper than physical media.
2. A buy back or trade in system needs to be introduced for PSN store credits. That is, trade in your downloaded edition of a game for credits towards another download.
3. There need to be more specials and deals like they have at retail sto...
