...obviously you cannot chat with other on-line gamers or you would not make such a ridiculous comment. Its got nothing to do with what you suggest however, what would be wrong for people chatting during games for human contact. In a way, is that not why you are posting comments on here...however, I would deem this a more pathetic form of communication. Especially when you sink to such depths as yourself.
...and you can save progress no matter where you are throughout the game. It also has autosave.
...I played it for about 4 hours trying to like it but just couldn't. There's simply no depth to TF2. The graphics were ok but were nothing special - suited the style of game.
If this was being sold on its own for a similar cost to that of COD4 then I doubt it would sell much at all on consoles.
...and Episode I and II are sublime single player FPS experiences. Its a pity that they seem to be hampered by frame rate issues as the PS3 could certainly push out the games with ease.
Portal was fun but for pete sake but its nothing that previous gen consoles could not have handled.
Team Fortress 2...umm, I can't see what people saw in this. It really did nothing for me and offers nothing close to the kind of experience you get with something like COD4.
...thing that distinguishes the 360 version of the game from the PS3.
I personally think the achievements system (on COD4 especially) is terrific. There is nothing wrong with being given a number of challenges (e.g. kill 3 enemies in a row using melee) as they can motivate you to play through again or in a different way.
Living in New Zealand (NZ) I'm only wanting to add other people from NZ to my friends list. Best way to do that should be to look at the friends lists of people I play against that are also from NZ.
This may not be a huge feature like say the addition of a web browser (I wish) but its another reason why Xbox Live is a fantastic service.

All of the top ten are rentals only in my opinion - yes they provide some fantastic entertainment but not a lot of repeat viewing. Where are all the c...
1. You cannot tell what the connection is like when you join a game until the game starts. If you end up in a game where your connection sucks then you either have the choice of playing and getting owned or quitting and having it count as a loss against you. You should be presented with a list of games you can join and what your connection to the host is like before you join.

...when it was released. Nothing special mind. Part 2 was a complete and utter mess that I'm glad I rented and didn't buy. As a result of part 2 being so bad I didn't bother with part 3.
Part 4 will need to introduce something completely new and not the same old boss battles that fight to a preset pattern.
...I don't give a f**k about either format however, Blu-Ray has only been doing well thanks to Sony and their PS3. The big unknown is how many people who are not interested in owning a games console will buy an HD player. The PS3 can not win this race alone as I doubt people will be buying 2 or 3 PS3s for their home to get Blu-Ray playback throughout the house.
It suprises me that people are so adiment that one format over the other will win when sales of both HD formats are ...
...Its still Spiderman if its on DVD or Blu-Ray. Its not like the movie is any better just because there are more pixels in the image.
I watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on DVD on my projector over the weekend and it look fantastic upscaled. Sure, Blue-Ray would mean a sharper picture but so what. Its still the same story and special effects.
Basically, DVD will do me until one of the HD formats wins and becomes affordable enough. Mind you, I only rent ...
Like you said...there use to be a website. It was shut down over 6 months ago.
...I rip my purchased DVDs onto another media is to get rid of all that so called "interactivity". I hate putting in a DVD and having to wait to get to a menu just so I can then hit "enter" to start the movie. The copies I make play the movie as soon as you put them in the player.
...themes are not my thing as I don't really care what my O/S looks like (its only there to get me from A to B) I don't like the way on the 360 you can't see the theme before you buy it. Its especially cruel considering there are no refunds if you don't like what you have downloaded.
...tried to feed gamers all that sh*t about rumble being so last gen. When technology evolves it typically takes the good points about the previous gen and builds on it. It doesn't leave the good stuff behind then convince everyone that leaving it behind was a good idea....
I am glad to see its all been sorted out and its finally here. However, I still hate the internal battery. Why didn;t they follow the example they set with the PSP and have a battery pack you could swap ...
...you want to play on-line. If you want to play on-line for free then do so on a PC or PS3. I'm sick of hearing people complain about it not being free when $50 p/a is nothing to most who have a 360 and broadband connection. I also especially hate it when people consolidate the cost of 5 years of Xbox Live gaming and comparing it to buying something else, i.e. a Wii. For f**k sake, if you didn't pay for the cost of broadband for 5 years perhaps you could go on a holiday or buy that new ...
...is actually quite fun for a quick burst of retro. My kids actually forced me to get it however as its not something with a lot of replay value for me and the wife.
As for space giraffe - my kids didn't like that at all so there was no way I'd spend $10 getting it.
...owe them something. Hell, this is business and if they don't wish to provide the level of support to the PS3 then thats their call - they just have to wear fewer sales. However, what has Sony done to try and rectify this??????
I'm betting Sony is unhappy about this especially since EA has been so important to Sony in the past. Has Sony made any official statements saying its working with EA to help them out with programming on the Cell?
...was a mixed bag. At times it was stunning beautiful and other times it looked like the Halo 2.5 that people claimed it to be. Best Halo 3 moment was when the flood's ship crashed and dusk was setting in. There was a fine mist and there was an erie glow. Inside the floods ship also looked damned impressive.
However, overall COD4 is the best looking FPS on a console to date.
...hardly anybody agrees with them. We all have our favorites that we used to play.
Oh yes, I would have thought Pong would have been up there as it was pretty much what started it all.
