I can go into the Store and be waiting for 90 seconds before all icons for the new release items are displayed. However, when I sign into my US account the icons for all new release items display in about 15-20 seconds.

...put the Halo 3 lobby system on the COD4 multiplayer gameplay and you'd have an almost perfect multiplayer experience.
...but for slightly different reasons:
1. Too many underage players playing it on-line now.
2. The lobby system. I still can't believe how many reviews praise what is essentially a multiplayer game that features such a sub-par multiplayer lobby system.
I would rate this game as follows:
- Single Player Campaign - 7/10. Fun but forgettable with no real replay value.
- Multiplayer - 9/10. Fun and addictive as hell when you end up in a good...
...the demo was fun, the graphics pretty solid. I may just have to pick it up for some arcade driving thrills.
As for Motorstorm, it just didn't hook me in. Sure it was fun and some of the graphics were great but it was missing replays, time trials and nearly everything else many have come to expect in a racing game. I especially disliked races where you were forced to use a motorbike. Bikes in motorstorm were pretty naff.

Remember Windows 95, 98, 2000. I would have thought 3 years between major releases would have been a bit long in my opinion.
Oh, and when did you last see a game sell over a 100 million copies? Vista may have its problems but its certainly no failure.
...but not at a consumer level for some time after 2011. I dare say retailers would prefer its kept on the quiet also as the current flat panels (and variations of them) will be a cash cow for at least another 6 or 10 years.
1080p is fine for now but give it a few years when 100" displays become the norm consumers will be demanding higer resolutions. Big problem is, will other technologies (i.e. cable/satellite netwroks, etc) other than PCs be ready to support them?

However, this only works if XBLA continues to provide playable demos of all XBLA games. I wish Sony would do that on PSN...provide demos of all PSN games that is.

Although NGII is by no means a Haze (i.e. a bomb) its still a shame it was not worked on to ensure it was flawless for its release. NG on the Xbox was one of the best, NGII on the 360 won't be. Shame that another console exclusive has not quite lived up to the high...
...if in any other industry their had been such a high failure rate there would have been a partial or full product recall. MS must be credited with being able to prevent such a recall occuring as if there had been one the 360 would have been crucified. You have to wonder how much better the 360 would have done if it had not suffered from the well publicised technical issues.

...was plain boooorrring. Multiplayer felt nasty and didn't even come with a lobby system making the entire on-line experience tacked on.
Lets face it, GTAIV was all about delivering a next-gen version of Liberty City but they forgot to deliver a good game to use it. Mind you, I was not overly impressed with the new Liberty City as it still suffered from jaggies and framerate drops.
I wonder what an "I Am Legend" type game could do with the GTAIV game...
