@Christopher

Oof, yeah. I don't think I'm picking up the PS6 until "Pro" comes out 😂

What is this community’s hate boner for turn based games?

455d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

There are tons of Star Wars games out there that are not Turn-Based Strategy. You can play those.

Don't know why you are getting downvoted. You are absolutely right.

Mass Effect combat should always have a layered approach that benefits from teamwork, with a good combination of Tech, Soldiers and Biotics and navigating + utilizing the environment.

Andromeda did fast action-combat already and it was borderline rejected by the majority of the playerbase.

The question should be how much does it cost Microsoft to maintain Game Pass. Servers etc.

While there is money lost from individual sales of games, the library is so large that that may not matter.

He worked only on the Campaign, which was the best part of the game that got hogged down by GaaS.

I thought about this until I played it. Machinegames is an FPS studio clearly - and they excel at it. I’d rather they play to their strengths as much as possible.

Would not mind another genre from them, sure. But they made indy really work well in FPS.

There is also the problem that when you work on for something for such a long time in this field, some of the tech back end is already a decade old by the time of release.

Won't be the case for the next TES. But Starfield has been kneecapped by its ambition and engine.

What is the virtue signalling in this game?

Hence why the shift towards GaaS...

A WB Executive would look at this figure and say "Well, if Cyberpunk was a live service game we'd be selling millions every month!" like how they looked at Hogwarts Legacy and came to that conclusion........ 💀💀💀

I mean it's an Indiana Jones game. A fun swashbuckling adventure; as long as the story respects the character with high quality cinematics, we'll be okay.

My only qualm was the fact that it was an FPS. Kinda wanted that old Lucasarts style, Third Person adventure instead; but I hear the devs nailed it despite the reservations.

Currently debating if I should play it at launch or wait for the PS5 version which should release with fewer release probl...

Did you use a calculator to record this? 😭

In the future, I really hope this doesn't become a Series S situation, where developers HAVE TO support the weaker Handheld counterparts and compromise on the full release.

This game looks so good on Pro!

Right around release, so many people were talking about Hellblade 2 but AWII just blows that out of the water with art direction and fidelity.

Really hoping to get a physical copy.

Does nobody in the comments section actually read the articles anymore? You just comment on the headline.

God damn the illiteracy on this site is worrying.

Your ass didn’t read the article.

Such shuffles are not unheard of. There may have been unforeseen circumstances that have taken place. Having somebody to help steer the ship once the position is opened up is better than no direction.

At this point most design/art bibles are already set, and the game director is helping the game become feature complete. The new creative director should help hone in the cinematics, designs, whatever remains of the story much easier than having to start from scratch for bot...

You do have to consider that N4G here is a quite minuscule group that mainly focuses on Single Player experiences.

It's a much smaller microcosm that appreciates Campaigns more than a lot of the Online players.

The comment section has been critical of GaaS since... damn, since the site launched I think. We've had some Destiny love when it launched first but that was it.
