Very much so. It's hard to survive just being a Game Developer nowadays unless you have the cushion and security.
Not to mention the customer base being almost completely vile at times on Twitter and Instagram.
Yeah it's using an updated version of CryEngine. I think the same version used for Hunt: Showdown's last update?
It's an old meme but it checks out. 🤣🤣
I was talking about the whole video in general, not just the headline.
They are actually touching upon some of the comments from the media responses and stuff. And I think they are treading very well.
Price and lack of Disc Drive is outrageous.
I really wish it could run in WLAN without having to roundback from Online.
This has to be one of the most transparent looks at a producer's role where they actually analyze negative response.
Can't believe I'm saying this but... Konami is doing a good job so far?!
IMHO This upgrade was completely unnecessary. And No Disc Drive at $799? Are you kidding? Killing Digital Media already?
First Concord and this... Who are making these decisions?
Did you play? Just asking out of curiosity.
I'll be a happy dev when Series S is discontinued. 😭
This crowd will only change its tune on Starfield after it launches on PS5 lol
"It's actually not that bad..."
Pro is not an optimal decision at this point. We need more Single Player games.
Condord 2.0?
That's Star Citizen.
This was I think the safest way Konami could get in the fans' good graces after all these years with Metal Gear.
I'm sure by the time the next "remake" comes in, they'll be starting some more innovations, especially if it's the rumored MG1&2.
UNLESS the users like it, then a 10/10 is "Well Deserved" otherwise a 8/10 is a death sentence.
Series S is the real reason for Xbox's decline in the eyes of developers. It's been a pain to work with that thing for years now.
While I agree with some of your statements, y'all gotta stop calling "woke" at every fucking thing.
Kind of! There was another Suicide Squad that was less GaaS/more one and done Co-Op built by Montreal, right after Origins (If you recall in that game, Slade was getting recruited to the SS at the end). And once that got axed, Rocksteady started working on a new iteration.
Gotham Knights had the DNA of what that original Suicide Squad was. A lot of the codebase is inherited.
I don't know why you got so many downvotes.
Quite a few colleagues have been plagued with senseless comments & DMs on social media, for games they've worked on where they assisted in development. A majority of the time the people who initiate these "attacks" are gamers who are not even customers who bought the product, but are people who are basing their attacks because of a primitive culture war that finally made its way into the video game circle sin...
