There is a reason that you're the only person trying to draw that parallel; it doesn't make sense. Touch controls for video games make sense on portable machines and phones. To use a tablet as the primary controller for a home console is gimmicky.
@PCE
Nintendo SAYS that the Wii-U is far more focused on the core gamer. We haven't seen exactly what is going to be on the plate yet, but we have seen the controller, which does not look like something that'...
@Aloren
Game Spawn used a bad word with "easier". They aren't easier to look at, but what trophies do is give more detailed information about someone's accomplishments at a quick glance.
If you were to assign numerical values to the different trophies, you would basically have a copy of their 360 counterparts. Add that number up to a total, and you have a gamerscore. Having them be different trophies, rather than numbers that equal one giant score, ...
I honestly don't even think you yourself know what your point is.
No matter how many disclaimers you pepper this write-up with, it IS flamebait, and you ARE aiming to discredit the game based one the statistics you presented.
1. When you tried to preemptively combat the inevitable accusations of being a person who dislikes the game, you also made it clear that there was some truth to it.
2. "Again my point is not to tell you that yo...
So if they name it something totally different people will get confused and think it's the same thing? They should retain the name and add a "2" to it so that there is no mistaking?
Yeah, that's logically sound.
Or you can just RTFA.
You aren't excited ≠ Little mass-appeal
Did you know that they are in the hole a couple of billion? You can't squeeze blood from a stone. I'm sure these things that seem as simple to an outside observer as "Why don't they just advertise!?" is actually far more of a complex issue than making a simple decision to advertise more.
@reynod
He didn't say upgrading the HDD is maxing a system out. He was pointing out the inaccuracy of your statement, "U can't change parts."
For the record, a HDD upgrade is actually a really effective upgrade for a PS3 owner who has lots of games, music, and/or video on the console. Just because it's not a performance upgrade doesn't mean it isn't significant or important.
You do know that everyone doesn't have an internet connection that would make downloading games that are tens of gigs in size (and that's this gen, I'm sure next gen games will take up far more space) a practical sole method of distribution, right? Many people on DSL and cable connections barely achieve 200kbps speeds,and many download even slower. Also people aren't willing to leave their systems on for a straight day to download games. And can you imagine how large the manda...
@takhoma
My thoughts exactly, who cares about BR?! If the part about used games is true then the implications are tremendous for the console gaming industry.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm not buying any console that attempts that nonsense. Bye!
I'm glad I'm not the only one whose nerves that gets on. I used to make a point of using my "not a reply" button, but nobody sees it, it's a waste of effort.
Wow, is this really that confusing? PSN requires a $5 minimum deposit, but beyond that there are no restrictions on the denomination you may deposit.
So in other words, any purchase whose grand total comes to over $5 can be payed for in the exact amount it costs, without having any leftover money on your account.
I'm still not visiting this site because of their horrendous interview with Paul Christofero where they basically kissed his ass the entire time and sided with him.
thegamingvault simply does not care.
Translation/condensed form for people who don't feel like clicking.
1. The PS3 isn't dead yet.
2. I can't think of how to improve on the PS3.
3. New systems are expensive.
4. PC isn't that much better.
5. Good games are coming out.
For all the times I've seen someone lazily throw together a top __ list to convey their opinion, this one still manages to stand out as narrow-...
Name some. Name one. Seriously, can you? I'm betting you can't. They were all D&D with a keyboard until FF and Dragon Warrior came along. Those games established RPGs firmly as a genre known for (comparatively) in-depth characters and stories.
And save the superior PC garbage for an article about something modern, where it might make some sense. PCs deserve and earn their respect when it's due, but this is not one of those occasions. Unless you seriously beli...
Isn't this the price that Sony recently announced it would be?

If they wanted to title this in such a way that is meaningful and or integrous it would be titled: "Skyrim Graphics Mods Blow PC Release Out of the Water"
But I know it wasn't going for that, it was cheap flamebait. Don't click the link people, it's a trap!
@SybaRat
Yes, and I'm saying that I think that one more title next year might hurt the franchise more than this year's edition did.
But more often than not.
