@gamingdroid
No, if 10,000 people are playing on PC and 100,000 are playing on XBL, the games you're playing still only contain as many people as are allowed. The benefit of a whole new group of players is having a different community available to game with. So if I'm on PS3 and my PC-only buddies are playing this, I'll be able to play with them, despite gaming on different platforms.
@WrAiTh
I read every word, I don't find it to be especially new, insightful, or wise. Like most times he opens his mouth. Hence the comment. Nice guess though.
Stick to making your game Cliff.
@everfighter
"Lol wow that commercial was derp."
"Stupid commercial is stupid."
Wow, can you use any more overused internet fanboy-cliche phrases in one sentence you giant douche? 2/4 sentences in that comment... It's like trolling children are too lazy to form an original thought, let alone type it down. They just copy & paste their go-to putdowns from a giant file of played-out shit that they keep stored in a fil...
I can't say I agree with your justification of flame-baiting for hits by pointing out that everyone wants hits. Everyone wants money, but there are respectable ways of going and obtaining it.
I gave the agree though, for an opinion that I don't see expressed on here enough, which is that the structure of N4G is such that flame-baiting nonsense will ALWAYS be the first thing you see, and it will work for sites.

"and this is about graphics, don't twist the discussion..."
First, ok, let's stick to the discussion. You know, the one about the most graphically impressive PS3 games. The one that you effectively trolled while acting like everyone else is a jerk for disagreeing with you.
Second: Crysis 2 IS a borefest. Not completely relevant, but still true. Get over it.
Third: Polygons do not always equal a graphically stunning game. You...
Your comment makes no sense. If you saw that this was the hottest article then you also saw that the other 3 hottest had a minimum of 70 comments. Let me hold your hand through this:
So we know N4G isn't dead now. So why would there be a really hot article with no comments? Well, let's see.

Ah, it's about an Amazon gold box day, which means deals were unfolding throughout the day. Could it be that people were p...
Probably from people who care about trophies, they disagree with your opinion.
I care about them, but agreed with you anyway, as I respect the point of view.
I disagreed on the second one though, because I can't stand when people stalk their agree/disagree count and then comment about it, as if it's a personal affront. Just say what you have to say and accept that people will disagree, standing around bitching about it isn't going to bring anyone ...
@LOGICWINS
Is this the first time you've ever heard of a subscription based MMO? You seem to be especially clueless about what's going on here. This is far from new, and can be a very effective method of letting people try a game and see if they are willing to pay for the full experience. Read the actual description of the different tiers of access for the game, it'll help give you a grasp of how this works, and may also help you understand that they aren't charging pe...
$15 a month is for "legendary" access, it isn't a trophy fee.
His point stands, regardless of storylines. It's just stimulation, and not everyone games with the primary goal of a definitive ending where the credits roll and there is nothing else to do. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me the most fun part of playing a game is playing it. When I'm replaying Katamari games for hours on end it isn't so that I can keep watching the ending.
That said, MMOs do have storylines. Main ones, even. It's just that there ar...
@ShaunCameron
That might be the worst attempt at logic I've seen this year. You don't seem to realize that the reasoning you're using contradicts itself. If they cancel out, then you can also say that you don't need a Wii or 360 to play all those games that are exclusive to PS3.
Back to the drawing board.

I did not see this coming at all. Things are certainly looking promising for Vita.
I can't imagine what it would take to make me stand on line for 6 days. Whatever it is it had better be dipped in gold and diamond studded.
Ah, back in the wasteland that is the podcast-submission comments.
Just wanted to say, any feedback is appreciated, even aggressively negative feedback. Actually, especially that kind. Kick our asses emotionally, we'll just keep coming back for more. At least I will. The others don't frequent this site. Yet.
Hope you enjoy!
Yes, and the Atari Jaguar indicated that home consoles were on their deathbeds.
One instance does not equal a trend. Mobile phones certainly have their place in gaming, but the "era" of portable consoles still has legs, and will for some years.
Let's see Reuters' opinion once Vita drops.
These trade shows keep getting better and better for web participators. Can't wait to check this out.
Since the comments section on all of these podcasts seem to be dead space, I suppose I'll use these opportunities to provide miscellaneous information.
Such as the fact that Epsiode 9 will be recorded and posted tonight. And the fact that we will be discussing Nintendo running around like a headless chicken lately. And Brian's socks.
I know, tonight can't come soon enough....
And I have the right to think his opinions waste my time 90% of the time he gives them. I don't see what is so difficult to understand about that.
