Thank goodness his walking animation is better than the one in Alpha Protocol.
Love Streets of Rage. Streets of Rage 2 is the best game ever made.
Treating this game like any other massive AAA title means that they are expecting a much greater return on their investment and they are investing a great deal more money.
I love Demon's Souls and Dark Souls is a great game that did a lot for the Soul's series, fan base wise, but this is a bad move on their part. If they invest to much money it is going to become close to impossible to see a return on their investment and that means this move could kill the Soul'...
After the fallout of putting FF13 on multiple consoles, no way would I want FF Versus to be on multiple platforms. I got nothing against Microsoft, I own a 360, but clearly Square Enix gets limited when they develop for multiple platforms at once.
If you know about the development of FF13 than you know a lot of content ended up getting cut out of FF13 in order for it to be put on multiple platforms. Than there was the whole oversimplification of the game to appeal to wider au...
I had a friend that was 50 and passed away last year. The guy was a huge FF fan and was looking forward to ff versus and kh3. Sure people pass on, thats a part of living, but there was no reason that FF versus or KH3 should not have come out within his lifetime. Instead of the two games most people wanted we got FF13 and FF14 shoved down our throats.
Personally, I liked FF13 and so did my friend, but that game should not have taken priority over FF versus. I am glad Wada got...
I didn't think KH3 would be an exclusive, but that is awesome if true.
Definitely going to grab some of that sleeping dogs dlc.
What are you talking about. Press X to Jason was an amazing story telling device.
They where better story and content wise as well. The restrictions current wrestling games impose on you is just stupid. So what if I want to beat the game as a Diva. It's not like anyone thinks a Diva can actually beat the Undertaker.
The modern wrestling games are more concerned about image and a lot less about fun. The same thing is true about modern day wrestling. I still like wrestling somewhat, but it is a shame when the best matches are by wrestlers like the Under...
No Mercy N64, was so good.
I would rather wait a few months for a great 1st or 2nd party game than get one of the many EA vaporware titles. Also, Nintendo is going to get a lot of indie developer support so there is going to be stuff to hold you over in between releases.
Not really, but it would have been nice to have those titles. However, if EA was just planning on doing what they did with the Wii, then I am glad they aren't supporting the WiiU.
This would be a major blow to any other company, but those 1st party and 2nd party titles from Nintendo makes other publishers irrelevant.
None traditional use of a console. There is definitely something of great value here that Nintendo should look into.
Yes, but in there case they are also a manufacture of a console and rights holder of many more popular IPs. This is something that other AAA publishers can't claim. My point was simple, if you are in the business of selling games than you don't ignore major platforms for whatever reason.
When you have AAA publishers ignoring major companies like Nintendo, they aren't going to last very long at all. More developers are going the indie route and the quality of those indie titles are vastly improving. I am sure AAA publishers will be around for a while longer, but I don't see them being around forever or even past 20 to 30 years.
Really looks like a fun character to play as, but that kind of seems to be true about all the characters. Looking forward to playing this game.
Maybe so but it is still a billion seller and ultimately thats what these companies care about.
It's surprising to see Kotick of all people speaking common sense, but it does just show that their is a reason they put this guy in charge. I am hyped for next-gen as a gamer that wants to play the latest and greatest. But I also know that development cost are going to be a lot higher.
The costs want change right away because the new titles will basically be up scaled 360/ps3 titles. After those are out and developers start taking advantage of the systems true potential...
Developers with vision will support the WiiU and everyone else will stay the tried and true path and battle it out on the powerful next-gen consoles. When enough companies go under and it becomes incredibly hard to release a Triple A game that is profitable, ala Tomb Raider, than developers will start looking at the WiiU.
Nintendo just needs to keep reaching out to the indie developers, iOs developers, and releasing 1st party and 2nd party games. Eventually, the likes of EA w...
Same here, I am definitely buying this for the ps4.
