At $199 I would be all over a psvita.
What MS is doing with the Xbox One is wrong on so many levels. To ignore that and pretend like it is just a friendly game console is to bring disaster to the industry. With that said, I am under no illusions that the Xbox One will not be successful and that is the truly sad part.
Hopefully it is coming to the ps4, because I am not getting the Xbox One.
Terrible tragedy.
Any game that requires online DRM should be boycotted. Not surprising to see this happen but it is what it is.
Thats great and it sounds like you are happy with your purchase. My point is more for people who buy the WiiU knowing it doesn't currently have a lot of the games they want to play. After they do buy it, they proceed to complain about a lack of games for them, like it just struck them that there where a lack of games or features they would enjoy. At a certain point, people just have to be a responsible consumer and do a little research into the product they are going to spend over $350 on...
I am probably going to take the money I had for the Xbox One and invest it in upgrading my PC.
I hope this is true.
Nice gesture, but praising the competition is probably not a good idea. Still it is a nice gesture and while I have no interest in the Xbox One, a lot of people still do. I have no interest in seeing MS, Sony, or Nintendo fail. Competition is very good for the industry.
Here is the thing, why buy a WiiU or any console until it has the games that you want to play out for it? I am high on the idea of the WiiU, but guess what, I don't own one. Why? Because I am waiting for more games that I would like to play to come out for the console. When that happens I will gladly buy a WiiU.
Doing this will save me money and ensure that I am happy with my purchase. I really get the feeling that some people just buy a WiiU to complain about the lack o...
The whole no comment thing on the video is what really kills what she has to say for me. She can have the most valid point in the world, but if she isn't open for discussing those points than why even bother listening to someone who is just preaching at you. If I wanted to be preached at I would attend church. I believe in open discussion.
The whole no comment thing kind of kills whatever she has to say for me. I believe in open discussion, not one person preaching at people from on high. I watched the first bit of her video and she made some connections that she really hasn't firmly established. I see the whole Damsel in Distress thing as nothing more than a story telling mechanic that works well because it connects with people on an emotional level. I don't see it as a male power fantasy, because there have been stori...
haha. Love or hate the Kinect 2 because it is included and mandatory with every X1 developers don't have to worry about X1 users having one, so we could end up seeing some really cool stuff come out of it. With that said, my concerns with the X1 are more privacy issue related. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I do want to know exactly how that works before I decide one way or the other about the X1.
I have been with Gamefly for over a year and half now and I love the service. So I hope they work something out as well.
Think about it, Gamefly must buy at least 10k games for one or two of the more popular games that come out for the consoles. At $60 that is $600k before taxes. No used games means that developers and publishers just lost out on $600k. There are some games that I would never buy, but Gamefly has to buy them because there consumers want to play those games. So that a lone is thousands of copies of games that normally would never sell, selling to Gamefly.
They cut out the used g...
It's too early to count MS out thats for sure. But it isn't too early to start passing educated judgements on the WiiU. The WiiU went from being dead to many people, to being a system that they are now considering buying. That certainly isn't due to any efforts on Nintendo part, that is all thanks to MS.
For many people it already has. People think that folks are upset because of a lack of games shown at the reveal and the used games issue. But it is so much more than those issue. Really the problem is the fundamental message that MS sent and is still sending. Gamers aren't stupid, we are incredibly intelligent so we know when a company is doing things that aren't in our best interest.
This is something that looks really unique and offers a great new experience. Unsurprisingly, it is something these guys had to pursue on their own because why would MS actually want to do something unique and innovative with their technology.
Please tell me they haven't come out and said something this darn stupid. That is just like begging hackers to hack them.
Right now all the news is about The Last of Us demo. Really sad to see this game look like it being sent out to die. Hopefully, people will still buy it but only time will tell.
