I ended up selling that "certain Bioware game" for this game. I am VERY pleased that I did. It was also rather creative idea to have the player choose the ending, with 4 to choose from that is. Gives you a choice in how to end the next play through, and the next and the next .... . :)
I am going to keep an Goldeneye on this one. ;)

I agree Tim Lefebvre, I think I was that 13 year old as well while playing because the normal bed time for me was 3-4AM in the morning. I even was up until 6AM at earlier on. A person really needs to plan ahead on what time to start. The game is that good, and it's been awhile since I have said this about a game. LOL
Did you mean ... *Spoilers* 3rd Boss there was a kill switch, only it was intended for Adam Jensen? If you went to the LIMB Clinic for the bio-chip replacement earlier, it adds to the game play experience (with a scrambled hud). My first game through I did not, forgot I guess. The kill switch did not work on Adam Jensen but I ended up missing a side mission in the process.
I AGREE with you. Keeping in mind, this is a story driven, thinking and strategy planning game with consequences. To many games make sure you have what you need at the get go or hold your hand like a loving parent should. But you need to be taught on how to think and act too.

Well lets see .... a 7 would be rather unplayable these days. The average of 9 or higher ... is most believable. :)
There is always the option to use the weapons offered in the Boss arena. :).... GOTY, agree so far. Gotta see what comes with Batman: AC. :)

I agree, it seems for a thinking and strategy game like DE: HR throws off those who are use to being handed everything from the get go or being led by the hand. If I did not have the "right" stuff, like you said each Boss arena has weapons to use. *SPOILERS*. This came in handy when my Augs were turned off before fighting the 3rd Boss by a kill switch. Well, there is 4 play through game types to consider. Combat Choices: Lethal- A. Up close or B. From a distance and Non lethal- A. Up close or B. From a distance. Then there are 4 endings (to choose from). And finally, 30-40 hours full play through. LOL
That is an interesting thought with Gears great finale this month. But half price, you would have to agree is rather extreme. But yes, you should pick this one up, with nearly 35 hours of game play with plenty of replay. You may need something fresh to come back too. :)
Any wife that sits down with their husband to play video games or discuss the details of a video game is a keeper. If she loves to watch and discuss football too, your truly living the dream. :)
