Pro's seem to greatly overwhelm the con's ... looks VERY hopeful. But I am just wondering how some people score games at 87/100? Just as well round it off and let it be 90/100 instead. :)

Conviction offered a new mechanic ... that is optional. This latest game is no different. Except the fact Michael Ironside will not be voicing Sam Fisher. Could have they had Sam Fisher find out he had a son? This is known while saving his sons life in a secret operation. This option of non lethal actions is another reason why I love Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The more options on how to approach and resolve issues the more replay and realism it brings to the game.
Looks great but I think this scene should have Issac Clark under moonlight rather than a daylight setting. Lesser light like moonlight creates more of a vulnerable and insecure feel to the player. Wide open areas alone kind of defeats these emotions a bit. So moonlight in this case would be good.
Off subject, but did anyone notice the impressive details on the gloves of the spartan alone. I am surprised that no one has been talking much about the new detailed looks for the spartan's suit gear. Back on subject, the sniper rifle looks beefy and the punch it delivers looks very satisfying. :)
Well, yes I would say LA Noire did better in sales in the first week than Max Payne. But how many of those who purchased LA Noire and then sold it ounce they played it through ounce? Also, LA Noire got allot more of advertisement to back it up. And yes, we all like new tech.. LOL
It seems that it has become rather "popular" to release a Multi-Player demo (beta) these days. I would love to play the demo they had presented at E3. :)
If this is true it will most likely be a multi-player demo I am sure. I would prefer for it not to be tho.

The one thing that I hated about this game was the over use of the F-bomb in its dialog. They could have been replaced with other intelligent liners of sorts or left out entirely. But instead they feel out of line as a interruption in a well scripted dialog for each character. I had a hard time with wanting to listen closely to what hey were going to say. Instead I was reaching for the remote. Or I simply was cut off gaurd and jabbed in the ear while walking alone or with Passos through certa...

This could get allot of people caught up in the webbing of this current game of the Spider Man series. This game looks VERY promising to be ... AMAZING. ;)
I am now just ready to start the second disk. And so far I am impressed as you are. Anyone who gave this game less than 9 should be ashamed of themselves.
One thing I noticed. It is something with the large subtitles that seem to let me know those words are tied in somewhere. Like telling me there is something wrong between certain family members coming down the road early on in the game. Just by paying attention to the larger subtitles. I could be wrong but we will see.
I may add, Max Payne 3 does not deserve anything less than a 9 (8.7). Sniper Elite V2 was getting less than 9 and that may be more understood. But I wish those who are reviewing games would research the developers ideas and motives to help rate the game it's self. Somethings can be misunderstood otherwise. As a result, creating a negative response with a lower score verdict.
If this is overwhelming by using a cutscene format during the downloading moments. From what I understand they can be skipped. Just getting the downloading icon is what remains. In other peoples opinions on having a cutscene instead of a loading icon is not done well compared to a more action driven game. This is understood because your dealing with a more story driven game with Max Payne 3.
They are more confusing when you see one review get a 9 or 10 and another a 7.5. It seems personal taste is being revealed mostly and or they have a hard time getting their other personal favorite games out of their heads.
Watch a boring downloading screen or disguise it with a cutscene format to bring a better flow to the game? Keeping that in mind and you may have a better attitude in what is being presented. Also remember, this is a story driven third person shooter.
I agree with you Lastdual, I started to see 9's from "non official big shots" who seemed to be more like ... gamers. But these "official" review sources you speak of are more like (paid) game critics who feel they have the "license" to rip apart games in so much that it takes away what games are to be ... fun.
