Don't you find that weird, though? The XBox One X has only been out for half a year and they're already hyping their next system? Why isn't the XBox community up in f*cking arms over that? They essentially just said: "Ha, you gave us $500 for the X, but it'll be outdated in a year. F*ck you!"
@starchild Through the Windows 10 store, not Steam, GOG, or anything else that's actually useful. It's like Origin, just a f*cking awful piece of garbage app that nobody should ever use.
@NeoGamer232 Out of that list, which games actually have the potential of being truly great games? I would assume: [ ]
...
I was going to write Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout 72, but neither are on your list and both are multiplatform anyway.
@OtterX Windows 10 game files are f*cking awful, though.
"Best show in years" doesn't say much, though, since every show for the past ten years has been awful.
I wholeheartedly disagree. XBox's future was the brightest just before and just after the launch of the 360. Nothing shown during their most recent presentation, with respect to exclusive titles, excited me at all. I'm curious about what Battletoads will be like, and Ori will probably be pretty good, but those aren't system sellers.
I like your positive attitude, but the XBone is going nowhere. Maybe XBox will have a fighting chance next gen? I sure hope they at leas...
Does anyone else find it really weird that they would say they're not only looking into a next gen console, but "deep into architecting" it? The XBox One X hasn't even been out for a full year.
I thought it was a really good conference for gaming, but an awful conference if their intention was to get people to buy into the XBox brand. Every great looking game was multiplatform, and every Xbox "exclusive" game will be available on PC. The only reason I can think of why anyone would ever buy an XBox is if they're a Mac user, but most of them are too busy mixing Dubstep on Garage Band.
I don't have one. :(
I wonder if any xbox fans are actually happy about this. I sure as hell hope not.
If Halo, Gears, Crackdown and Forza haven't helped the XBone out of last place, how can anyone actually believe they will help it now? XBox is the literal definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Ugh, when are they going to stop trying? -_-
I hope so! More games is never a bad thing. I also hope Microsoft doesn't close down any of the studios they recently acquired.
Pretty good conference overall, but it makes you wonder:
1) If they're blowing their load with every single IP they own now, what are they going to do for the next 3-4 years?
2) How long are xbox fans going to be content with the same games over and over again? The big exclusive games were (SURPRISE!!) Halo, Gears, Forza, Crackdown, Ori. Yay.... -_-
3) Why does an xbox console even exist if everything is playable on PC?
Yes. It's grave is already dug. Just let it go.
It's fun, but it's littered with problems at the moment. There are multiplayer bugs out the wazoo, stupid design choices ruin the game (co-op warping is my biggest issue), and there really isn't anything new about the game at all - there are zero new towers (some are even missing) and zero new non-boss enemies.
It still isn't out yet? I thought it launched like three years ago....
Is there no PC conference this year?
I like to believe that CD Projekt RED isn't that stupid.
Yeah, I found it weird that they had even less gameplay this year than in 2014...
