Ah god, don't even bring up Shining force. Every time I think about that amazing gem of a series I get so nostalgic, and then super depressed. What I would give for a Shining Force 3 compilation, with all three parts fully localised, is beyond imagination.
Imagining both DICE and RARE at Sony is like a happy, magical dream. But then I wake up I realise one of them is pretty much already dead, f*cked to death by the long needle-d*ck of M$, and the other is stuck, slowly suffocating in sh*t. :*(

Honestly it's the $60 price tag that's the problem. MTs and DLC came to be because the price of games hasn't increased in the last 20+ years to match inflation. That's actually a really good point, and would explain why most of the characters look like they should be in Vietnam. Maybe it started development as a full-game sequel to the BC2 Vietnam DLC. Ooohhhhh god I want that so bad. F*ck you, EA.
My biggest problem with her is she's a very obvious clone of Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. DICE could at least be a little bit creative and make their own characters.

What I don't understand is why they're trying to show it as a WWII game. Why not go all-in with an alternate reality fantasy shooter? The Order: 1886 as a Battlefield game would be f*ckin' rad. ... Well, would be, if it were developed 13+ years ago when DICE wasn't with EA. Now, regardless of what they do, it's going to be garbage and I'm not going to buy it.

I think you're misunderstanding a very important point here. When a game, movie, TV show, etc says "based on untold battles," it means that the battles never happened and are purely fictional. It doesn't mean they did a shit ton of historical research and found new information that nobody knew before.
