Brad always writes great reviews on Giantbomb. In fact, their whole staff really does a fantastic job. Great score!
.5 is still a whole lot. You figure 500k copies in the first week for a game like this. That's 2500 people without the content they paid for.
I really enjoyed this game. It might have some rough edges, but it's definitely worth a playthrough for platforming fans. Definitely my most underrated game so far this year.
Well, I guess that was cool. There's no spoilers or anything, just a little platforming. Nice looking, even for off screen.
I never really played much of Uncharted 2 multiplayer, so I didn't know. However, I'm really enjoying this beta and I'm looking forward to the multiplayer being a great counterpart to the inevitably stellar single player.
Yeah, this'll really help Starhawk get some traction. It looks awesome, it just needs more people to get excited about it.
Probably the same as before. Around 10-12 hours.
That's awesome. I'm not there in the game yet, but I'm excited to see that when I do get there. I would have NEVER figured that out by myself.
My goodness, both of you are so pompous its hilarious. I'm sorry if I think Rage deserves more than a 6.5 from watching about an hour of video. While playing it would help, its a first person shooter. I've played plenty of competent first person shooters in my life to know when they look good or not; therefore, after watching video of it I estimated an average score of 8.5-9.0 based on games I have played before. While you might think you're so unbiased, why don't you just...
Oh, please. Let's compare a game that hasn't gotten great reviews recently like "Body Count" and compare it to "Rage". Based on videos alone, it's pretty easy to tell which deserves a higher score.
Wow, wasn't expecting any below 7 really. I definitely won't pass judgement till I play it, but from what I've seen it looks better than a 6.5.
It sure reads like its fake. There's pretty much no detail at all and it is rather poorly written. While I want this game to be great, I'm definitely waiting for some other reviews.
Looks pretty impressive. I want Okabu and pixeljunk sidescroller!
Totally agree. It has some major flaws, don't get me wrong, but it's a ton of fun and is huge compared to other modern games.
To be fair, this game is gigantic. I agree that it should be right at the beginning, but when a game is this big and ambitious, just like the fallout games, I can give the developers a little slack. Fallout: New Vegas was one of the only games where I really felt it was out of control. That game barely even worked at all when it was first released.
^I know after playing "flower" I became a raving liberal lunatic throwing money out of one hand and flowers out of the other with Gore, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid promotion buttons all over my clothes. Didn't everyone?
I liked the list! I agree with most of them. However, AC: Brotherhood is at the top of my most anticipated games list along with Uncharted and Batman. I would have also put a wait on Rage because I'm sure I'll get it at some point just to look at the pretty graphics, but Id hasn't made a good GAME in such a long time, I'm definitely weary. They do make great engines, though.
I understand that they should mention it, but it's entirely possible that they didn't even get that version. A lot of games that are console focussed only get the console versions sent to reviewers.
It's not like it's a big deal. I've had a ps3 only for a long time now and even though sometimes the ps3 version is worse, it's usually not too noticeable. Everyone just needs to stop counting pixels and play the game in question.
People have turned on Nintendo. They're all mad because Nintendo has pretty much abandoned their wii. However, a good game is good no matter where it is, and I'm sure Zelda will be great.
