I loved Uncharted 3. People just think it's cool to dislike really high profile games. It happened with GTA4, it happened with Halo 3, and it's happening with Uncharted 3. I agree that Naughty Dog should take a break with Uncharted, and all signs point to the fact they already are with The Last of Us being unveiled. However, Uncharted 1, 2, 3, have been absolutely incredible games and probably my favorite new IP of this generation right next to Assassin's Creed.
I didn't really love Mass Effect 2, so this doesn't bother me too much. However, if the shooting part of the game was smoother, I would really be happy. ME2 seemed a little confused on whether it wanted to be a tps or an rpg and was never really great at either one in my opinion. I have high hopes for ME3 because I really like the story in these games, but I'm not holding my breath on the gameplay.
Not really. Naughty Dog probably wouldn't say something like this to begin with. Of course they care about sales numbers. These companies don't make video games for free.
Well, that's good.... i guess. I just want it to be released next fall. Next year will be 7 years since SotC. Seriously, guys, it's time to get going here.
Oh, come on. AC isn't B material if you're looking forward to the story and enjoy the first two games! I cannot wait to see the end of Ezio's story and I'm sure many other people feel the same. This is the end of a quick three year trilogy with all 3 games being iterative of each other and the continuity being high. I like to think of them as one huge 70 hour Assassin's Creed game that they just couldn't fit on one disc.
Can't wait for next Tuesday. I put a lot of games on hold, but Uncharted 3, Batman, and this were my "day 1 buys" this year. Third person action games have never had a better year.
A review might be an opinion, but that's no excuse for not striving for objectivity.
Yeah, but it's still a pretty neat idea. I'm not gonna say no to free stuff!
MAGICAL DROP. AAAARRRRGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I agree to some point, but they really should have gotten the riddler stuff under control. There are just too many riddler trophies scattered around that it gets overwhelming and detracts from the overall experience for me.
The problem is that he's the only one that has the courage to give a game that score. I tend to think I will disagree with his score when I play the game myself, but when any other reviewer plays a Call of Duty game or a Gears game, their whole career could be ruined if they don't give the correct score. Sess already has a great career and has plenty of things to show and prove it, but others don't and all of their reviews could be thrown out the window if they don't give a ...
Exactly. Plus, I can have my own popcorn with it, not the 5 dollar stuff.
If I had hundreds of hours of free time, then it would probably be my GOTY. But since it takes me about a week to get through 8 hours of a game, there's just no feasible way for me to play that game properly.
UK developer? I thought they were in the US.
must......not.....watch......A HHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I really enjoyed Gears 3. I don't know if I "9.5" enjoyed it, but it was a very well crafted game. Uncharted 3 is more my style because I like single player games more, but Gears 3 had some really fantastic multiplayer with a strong single player campaign and deserves that score in many people's eyes. Uncharted 3 has and will get plenty of praise and a 9/10 is a great score for a game with such high expectations. People need to get a grip on the fact that different revie...
Plus, it's just a poorly spoken review. Just watch gametrailers if you want a video review, guys.
Yeah, it looks amazing.
Oblivion was great, but the immersion that game once had has been lost to some degree. Skyrim is gonna blow Oblivion out of the water and Elder Scrolls VI is gonna do the same to Skyrim.
I really enjoyed Deus Ex and Dead Space 2, but there is no reason those should be on there instead of Uncharted 3.
