They're doing something right, because you're here commenting on their efforts! If this was the list for PS4 indies you guys would be praising Sony for it, now indies don't matter! Don't get me wrong, they do have alot of work to do when it comes to 3rd party developers. But this article isn't about that.
I like the way those indie games are broken down like that and think it would be clever for Nintendo to organize the eshop indie corner in a similar manner.
What an extensive and amazing list of indie games! I had no clue that most of those games were even coming to the WiiU... I would like to see Nintendo Directs become a lil longer in scope and have a section dedicated to the up and coming indie games.
I know people are probably bummed out that this game isn't coming to their system of choice, but I think this will most likely be a big deal and primarily because of the exposure it will receive from the cartoon tie in. Sonic has never really sold well on any platforms other than Nintendo and Sega's own of course, so I'm not so sure why people are so quick to call this a bust so quickly

Spending money on an expensive game like Deep Down is what will continue to hurt Capcoms profits! Make a proper MegaMan game already, that's what the fans want.
Just glad that they cleared up the whole its not running on CE3! People will look for any reasons to discredit a game for some reason... I for one have hope that maybe this will be the change that the Sonic games have needed all of this time.
What gets me, is that these people here act like if they don't post or read about Sony's losses, that its not really happening! Guess what this is actually happening people!
I like Sony as well, more directly the Playstation brand. Lets not pretend that everything is all golden right now though... I just don't know why people in glass houses love to throw stones.

Nintendo systems as a whole are lacking in 3rd party support. What I mean by that is besides the very Japanese style games, they don't get the same support from Western developers. The games that do come to the systems seem like half hearted versions pretty much. The Wii did get support, but those games were very Wii specific and not the big companies main offerings. I understand that Wii couldn't handle the graphics libraries of the PS3 and 360, but would it have hurt Ubisoft in putt...
Apple could by Nintendo, that wouldn't be a problem for them at all. But Nintendo financially isn't in the situation that Sony as a whole corporation is. I don't think I'm saying this as something Sony would suggest. But what if Apple thinks it would be a good investment? Do you really think that current investors would look unfavorable to an Apple buyout of the Playstation brand? The Playstation brand is directly related to Sony, because Sony owns the Playstation brand. The reasons that Sony was able to put resources into even making the PS4, is because of the capital they can raise as a whole company. The gaming division isn't worth that much by itself! Many here seem to think that if Sony sells off all of their other divisions and cut jobs, the Playstion brand is gonna be worth equal to Nintendo and that would be false.
So if Sony sells off its other divisions and a much larger company like Apple swoops in and buys the Playstation brand, how would you guys feel? Just look at the overall profits from the gaming division for the quater, 4.2 million dollars... Sony can not just rely on the gaming division alone to try and bankroll everything. My guess is though these specs might be a lil extreme for what we consider a traditional Nintendo console these days. It probably has more to do with how far technology advances over the next few years whether they make something that powerful though. A console with 3-4 Tflops of power would be more than Nintendo would ever need for their games and my guess is that the target goal will be to be able to run games 1080p 60fps no matter what type of game it is. Even like The Order, yesterday on GAF everyone was raving about how this game is going to be the second coming and now today many are disappointed by what they have seen... I don't get why many get so involved this way, its pretty extreme to say the least
