What I don't get about people's comparisons of Watchdogs to MK8, is that we will probably get multiple sequels to Watchdogs this generation but only one MK game. So while MK8 will continue to sell well for a long time and maybe get great dlc, Watchdogs will fall off a cliff within a week or two.
Yeah your points are pretty poor and invalid when talking about gamepad features. This game is doing what it does best and I can't fault it for that. Does the battle mode suck? Yes, but they can remedy this with dlc. Now if Nintendo releases Zelda or the next Metroid with no gamepad integration, that would be a horrible mistake on their part. But every game doesn't have to use it in some cutting edge way, just to say hey look at what we did!
The fact that both Sony and Microsoft have big games that are being pushed back into 2015, could give Nintendo plenty of room to fully charged the momentum of WiiU going through the holidays. Most of the core WiiU games will be out this year and the showing of Zelda U and a possible Metroid tease are gonna cause hysteria...
^This exactly! It's what I felt as soon as I clicked on the post.
Your highlights of his or her points is exactly why I disregard this post. As many others have stated time vandalism time again a person that is not interested in fun Nintendo games shouldn't bother with the WiiU. You are setting yourself up for failure on any Nintendo platform if you purchased it with intent on getting 3rd party games frequently.
I don't get why people feel the need to post stuff like this. It's not like this is Amazon.com and this is the product user reviews or something. Every one just doesn't need to know why you don't want something!
They're doomed though, this generation for certain this time!lol
I know but what makes it worse is watching this video and these idiots trying to prove how Metroid isn't viable to sell WiiU consoles. People actually still believe that everyone that likes Metroid already owns a WiiU, which just isn't the case at all! That's like saying everyone that wants Uncharted 4 already owns a PS4... It's failed logic
The WiiU is one of those systems that it has to be able to turn water into wine before most will admit they want the thing. If you just say the words resolution or frames per second, people claim they can't put their PS4 down! I'm intrigued because the PS4 Is good hardware, but let's face it people there aren't that many things to get excited about in those systems currently.
This might be the PDP controller! If you read the initial announcement, it stated that Nintendo partnered with PDP to bring a GC controller to WiiU.
How do people complain about stuff like this with Nintendo games but not with others. Assassin's Creed is one of the most guilty series of hand holding and tutorials. To be honest the whole QTE's seem like they were born out of restricting the player in favor of cinematics.
They will probably have Zelda playing a section of Zelda at e3!
I can't wait!
I wish the list of possible games was expanded like Europe! Most of us that have WiiU's already own these games they are offering(except Wii party U of course)
Just a question, Why wouldn't you buy a refurbished deluxe model from Nintendo online(that comes with a warranty)? Or is the one on Craigslist brand new? WW HD is amazing by the way! This is a true testament of what all HD remakes should be like in quality. Here's hoping for more ReUimagined games to be announced at e3.
After e3 and the games coming out this year alone, if the WiiU line up doesn't make you want one. Then you never wanted one and probably should just move along! It's irritating when you see people buy ps4 and XbOne systems for broken 3rd party games (not even owning the 1st party titles). Then articles like this come up and they pose suggestions like if the system was $100, then yeah I would buy it! So this is why my wish for Nintendo is that they go back to their Get N or Get Out man...
The Zelda universe is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises, so I don't see them just allowing Tecmo-Koei to put out a bad game. Although many disliked Metroid Other M's story, the fundamental game play elements were extremely solid and made it a good game. It seems like this game has had roots for a long time now and all of the information coming out plus the developers most recent comments that the game will be fully unveiled at e3. Makes me believe we've only seen just a fra...
Actually if I recall right Soul Calibur sold better on the GC than it did on PS2 and Xbox during that time.
Not only just bringing more interest back into the franchise, but making it a more relevant IP over in the western markets. My guess is this is the first Zelda spin off of this kind and I'm betting it won't be the last. Tecmo-Koei said they would be pleased to sell 1 million copies of this game, but I think it will do that easily!
The GameCube controller is Nintendo's most comfortable, but I think I like the Gamepad just a bit more. Probably because I'm a big RPG fan and the Gamepad can single handedly simplify the way RPG's are handled on the system.
