That's essentially a light arrow, my guess is that it's Zelda!
Epic trolling us Nintendo, wow!
Showing off a Zelda game with Zelda as the first character shown playable... I'm even more psyched for this game now.
I guarantee Nintendo spent way more money than both Sony and Microsoft combined to make that Digital Event video, than they did on their presentations. The production value and not to mention the partnership with Robot Chicken is pretty epic! Just finished watching the SmashBros tournament and it's clear that people will be talking about this for some time to come
So I do think that this new footage was updated for WiiU. The original trailer looked a lot worse than this!
You are so ridiculous for even saying that! They were obviously trolling us in the Digital Event...
Exactly what I thought, I almost swore that Nintendo were going to come out and say they partnered with Studio Ghibli. I know many are shocked by the art style, but I for one was hoping for a more anime inspired style. Here's where people are jumping to quickly. Go back and look at the higher quality stream of this game and look at the grass and sky. The details are simply amazing and kinda looks realistic at times. There are plenty of animes that have a similar graphic style and I'm...
I think people are being kinda harsh because I just watched a go 30 minutes of Twitch streaming and the game still looks great. I do notice that the face models of the main characters look different than some of the villains shown. But they could be place holder elements because of the customizable options for your characters. Other than that, the world of the game looks amazing and huge!
It's not cel shaded though, that's what people have to stop saying! It has more of an anime generated look but not cel shaded, people have to learn their art styles. SS wasn't cel shaded either just to clarify things!
Maybe that game was misrepresented in the footage they showed, but I couldn't help thinking what the hell am I watching here?
In engine is such a deceptive phrase, because a cutscene done with a in game, game engine could be running at 15fps during and allowing the visuals to run at the max because there's no player feedback during those segments. TLOU on PS3's cutscenes were using in game engine as well, but those cutscenes tend to always have a little more detail and polish that the actual game play segments.
Both presentations focused on games that will be on both systems. The 3rd party games were the only real ones showing off game play! I know that both camps did have some playable footage, but the overall feel was that the games aren't ready so we'll show you this trailer.
Yeah people need to take their fanboy goggles off! It was close to a tie, but I have to slightly give it to Microsoft. Solely for talking about games only!
It's not immature when the delay of such game didn't help the sales on the other systems. But you really didn't care about using real logic, just any reason to stick the knife in... lol ;)
That's what I thought at first, but he states that it is a family oriented game. Not sure what that could be
One of the most disappointing things is how little game play was shown at e3 so far. The Division has to be one of the quickest games ever to lose so much interest. Last year that game was easily one of the best of e3 and this year it looked very boring. AC Unity actually looks pretty fun, but as someone else stated. So much re showing of multiplats that were already shown or mentioned.
Microsoft actually did a great job! Sony's wasn't bad but a lot of the talking about movies and Playstation TV content changed the momentum. They could have put that closer to the beginning and it would have been much better
What I don't understand is how people just choose to ignore all of the games coming to the system in between MK8 and SmashBros. The way you describe it, one would think that these are the only two games coming out this year! When in fact 2014 will probably go down as the best gaming year for the console.(unless they go nuts and announce an even bigger release list for next year.)
This is the biggest misconception, because true SmashBros players don't want to play the game on 3ds. The GC adapter alone will be the primary reason people play SmashBros on WiiU. But in all reality, Smash is about the crazy local player battles and the 3DS just can't provide the same experience really.
I think if a Mario Maker is being announced, it's in direct response to Minecraft doing so well and will be one of the Gamepad essential titles. I actually think we're going to hear something that we didn't expect to be honest! Like along the lines of Nintendo picking up the publishing for a game previously announced to not be coming to the WiiU.
I'm telling you, I bet that was Zelda they showed us. Those were light arrows or a new take on them
