People are grasping for anything these days that doesn't make since. Next we'll see an article saying that the Unreal 4 engine is running on the PS3 but can't run on the WiiU! Lol
Give me a break people...

Well it is impressive none the less regarding if it is real or not. I hope that the final WiiU launch line-up looks just as well rounded as this one!

Actually Nintendo didn't do that bad in the core game arena, it was convincing the third parties to make core games for the Wii. I think that Nintendo brought more than 2 games during the Wii's lifetime.
Disaster Day of Crisis
Donkey Kong Country
Excite Truck
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Kirby's Epic Yarn & Return to Dreamland
The Last Story
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword
Mario Kart Wii <...

I think its crazy that most of you preclude that Ipod & cellphone gaming is the doomsday device for the core gamers. Wouldn't anything that gets people to openly play games become a gateway and not the other way around. I've met far more people just at work, that started out playing games casually and then moved on to either buying a Wii or PS3 down the line.

Haven't you learned by now that it wouldn't matter what Microsoft and Nintendo show at E3. On this site you are suppose to be programmed into saying Sony wins all of the time... lol

But in all honesty it's this sense of arrogance and entitlement that places Sony in the position they're in today. Nintendo and Sega have experienced that hot seat as well and look what happened there. So hopefully they learn from their mistakes and make adjustments. Because no co...

@Kennytaur: Everything that you have stated is exactly what was expected of you! Just more speculation on the very general information that Nintendo provided to the public and nothing more... To state just because Ibm is making the cpu and speculate that it is probably in similar design to Watson, isn't classified as actually knowing much. Hell even I can say that the next car from Honda will have an engine in it and run on gasoline. That doesn't make my statement accurrate in knowing...

@Nutsack: lol, really your name alone justifies why we shouldn't even be responding to your comments here... But I for one am so glad that you are treading hard to make this WiiUrine nick-name stick. Because Nintendo is going to piss all over their competition next-gen as well! :)
Nintendo should just call their online infrastructure the GSN or Golden Shower Network... lol
You're so clever, no really you are!...

I think its funny that you are so confident and sure in your evaluation of everything. The quote that "we already know a fair bit about the WiiU" is misguided, because there's not one factual thing about the WiiU that you can tell me that isn't subject to change. You dont know the final hardware specs, ram type or amount, usb version&# of ports, amount of flash ram, number of tablet controllers compatible during game play, etc... So that sounds like quite a bit you don&#...

I think that so many people are in denial because they really want this system to fail miserably. But with everything that we know about Nintendo, the Wii brand and the determination to bring back core gamers. This system sounds like it's destined to be a heralding achievement in Nintendo's come back era and all the makings of something truly great all around for gaming.

Well in all likely hood Sony will most certainly ditch the Cell CPU, so that's out of the equasion. I have a feeling that not one of the current console makers are going to be able to achieve a next-gen system that's 10x the power of ps3/360. There are just to many factors to consider beyond what you have stated to come to such a leap in the next round...

Omg! You did not just use the words classiness, maturity and intelligence when describing the overall Sony gaming community... have you read some of the comments most sony fans leave on this site? Just read the ones not even on a sony related article, it's just absurd the level of obssession some fans stoop to.

Lol! Why tune in at all, it already sounds like you are a few pills short from killing yourself just because 2 companies aren't bending to your will in announcing their next hardware... You make a statement as if there isn't gonna be anything else there that's interesting at all! I for one would rather both Sony and Microsoft announce new hardware when they are fully prepared to, and not some makeshift briefing like Nintendo did with WiiU last year.

I don't agree with this Sony will fail article, but for this one opinion piece written about Sony there are probably 5 in rotation in the Nintendo segment of this site... it just gets old at times to read when there are no facts backing up any claims that he's making. You don't see articles like this about Microsoft because they have way to much money to fail at this moment and time!

Well the creative director at Crytek that said this is just an idiot! This guy has been quoted over probably the last month and a half saying some pretty off the wall things about every company relevant in the videogame industry just about... Sony or Microsoft probably put some legal pressures on shutting this guy up or something because he's been way out of line

Lol, that's so funny! But it does sound like alot of people here pray at the altar of "Sony"

I'm just trying to follow your statement of how Nintendo can water down the specs from their initial design. When developers that have received the latest devkits, say the newest iteration of the kit is more powerful than what they were expecting the final specs to be...

Well i think you are glossing it up pretty heavily on Sony's behalf. But you have to give credit to all of the competition that e3 has become the specticle that it is today. Each company whether it be Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo have all had their many memorable moments at past e3's and to give such credit to one company is just a blind injustice... Sony is a great company and all, but they wouldn't be half the company they are today without great competition to improve on! And th...

That's what im confused about is the blind loyalty to a company some people can have! Im no fan of any company but any real hardcore game players will admit that new hardware coming to the market always draws in the most crowds at e3. Remember most of these people are gaming press at these kinds of events and they all want to break the next big story first... WiiU has the most unknown elements surrounding it at the moment and mystery always piques peoples interest, whether it turns out to...

@DeadlyFire: I think Bluray was one of Sony's better investments in awhile and they should start to see even more returns on their investment when it becomes public knowledge that both WiiU and Xbox720 both use a variant of Bluray. Their biggest mistakes with ps3 were trying to reinvent the wheel by manufacturing their own CPU and not including enough ram in the system from the begginning.
