What do these companies have to gain by praising the WiiU? When most didn't even support the Wii at all. If they just wanted to make a quick buck they would have found anything to shovel onto that system, but they didn't. So why would they praise the WiiU unless they actually believe in it! People are in such denial here that when developers after e3 2011 totally came and say that WiiU will wipe the floor with ps3&360, just about everyone here states they must be lying just to sell games! I call that the perfect definition of being delusional, myself.
Well i don't know what Nintendo articles you are looking at on here but most are pretty negative towards Nintendo and a console that hasn't even been fully unveiled to the public as of yet... it's not as if Nintendo had a major fail in the console or handheld arena this Gen. I like how people equate a game running in a higher resolution, frame rate and with more features as not being a big deal. After all of the dumb fan driven articles that WiiU is possibly even weaker than the PS3! If you don't like it then don't buy it! But most games that support motion controls also offer the classic way to play as well. so what are you people crying about? Motion controls are probably the best thing this generation to happen to FPS's period... there is no way in Hell that people can realistically think that a dual analogue set-up is superior to a motion+ Wiimote and if they do then im glad that im not as short-sighted as those people are then.
This is how much you guys posting so negatively know about graphics engines, because when modified to do so even the Ipad 3 will get some version of the Unreal Engine 4. No I don't think Epic ever came out and said that. I agree whole heartedly! Nintendo does always seem to find an audience somehow. But doesn't it seem a little short sighted on most "Core gamers" behalfs to just dismiss consoles like the Wii for bringing motion controls mainstream. It was the 3DS where they admitted fault for not having a strong line-up of games and for the pricing not the DS... and you will never hear Sony or Microsoft apologize for anything that they've done against their fanbase. Did Sony apologize for consumers initially paying upwards of $600 for the PS3 or Microsoft's RRoD issues.
These are all very good and practical ideas for the usage of NFC technology, but I think that Nintendo will introduce something that we haven't even begin to imagine as far as using in games. One thing is certain, Nintendo isn't going to be caught like they were with the Wii. By not having Wii Motion Plus right out of the box at launch. The WiiTab definitely isn't short on technology being packed in, that's for sure!
Nintendo is one of the very few companies that have made a public apology for alienating their fanbase for a period of time. You just don't hear of big companies admitting fault for decisions that was made and they did this for both the Wii and 3DS's faults... I think Nintendo knows how important e3 is for them and we have just a short time left before we find out what plans they have for the future of Nintendo gaming.
