If you are talking about regular PC RAM, 16Gbs of DDR3-2133 (the fastest DDR3 available) will cost you about $150. However, that is quite different from GDDR5, which PS4 uses.

@Indo,

Unless you consider "Future Proof" being able to last and out-perform for a century or more, I'd avoid using it.

1 million is much less than the number Sony supposedly shipped. And since they claim to be "sold out," I'm assuming it's quite different...

So, I'll wait to see the final numbers.

I thought so, too!

However, I'm tired of the song. Especially after listening to it just about every time my son rides in my car with me... But he loves it, so whaccha gonna do?

Uhhh... That's a blue tang. Nemo is a clown fish.

Well of course he has no factual basis to support is claim, and he points that out with, "I'm pretty sure..." However, to call his opinion useless would make yours just as useless. After all, you opined about hacking as well and you supported yours with, "I seriously doubt..."

Just to be fair, I used, "I'm quite certain..."

You see, we're all full of opinions.

Ummm... It's not hard to get past a certain coding to access game files, if you have the know-how. However, figuring out how to get a pirated copy to work on the console will take quite some time.

I'm quite certain all next-gen consoles have some pretty serious measures to combat piracy.

Better yet, if you could see the names of those who disagreed... Then having the immediate option to "ignore" and take bubbles to those who are disagreeing for fanboy reasons.

But then again, N4G would become a wasteland of ignored people and no one would comment anymore.

@4sh0w,

I live in Japan, however English is most definitely my native language.

However, HelpfulGamer is very much a Sheep. So, I clicked agree.

@Dmarc,

Yes... I accidently omitted an important word; "sold out."

It's only when something is not sold out that there is a great difference between 'shipped' and 'sold.'

@Gekko36,

I highly doubt that Foxconn is going to go after TomShoe simply because he mentioned "slave" in his comment.

But if you want to be politically correct about the conditions at Foxconn, it's called "Forced Labor."

The difference between 'numbers sold' and 'numbers shipped' are completely different. 'Numbers sold' are those that have been purchased by customers, whereas 'numbers shipped' are those purchased by retailers and are sitting in a warehouse... waiting to be 'sold' to consumers.

Let's just assume that the 1 million are 'numbers sold.'

Commendable!

0.4% is an accurate and truthful number. Sony is not lying or fudging the numbers here.

But I'd just like to point out the difference between 'numbers sold' and 'numbers shipped' are completely different. 'Numbers sold' are those that have been sold to customers, whereas 'numbers shipped' are those purchased by retailers and are sitting in a warehouse... waiting to be sold to consumers.

I've got to agree with one thing Joe90 said, "you shouldn't have trolled the RROD and Xbox One so hard for so long as it was always going to turn around and bite you..."

Yup, what comes around, goes around.

We will never know the true percentage... just like the numbers for PS2's DRE.
