I've been living in Japan for over 10 years. And I can say it's the cleanest, safest, easiest (provided you speak the language) developed country I have ever lived in.
But I will warn you, if you plan being here for longer than a tourist visa allows (i.e. work here), start learning the language before you come! Otherwise your experience here not only be incomplete and unfulfilling, but it will more than likely be less than enjoyable.

Just to let you know, for the PC they release GPU driver updates before major game launchings, like Batman: AO. Your PC won't brick and the game will run if you don't patch, but it MAY not be as smooth.
Anyone who thinks that PS4 or XB1's "Day 1 Patches" are so mandatory that no games will run is simply trolling.

FYI, there are more people out there whose consoles are more powerful than their PCs.
In my opinion, the winning console is the one that sells the most exclusives and multiplats... Even if one sells slightly less systems than the other.
The DRM thing was rumored back when the PS4 was first debuted, but then they tried their damnest to rebute it.
